I am planning a trip to Six Flags Great America within the next couple of weeks. I'm looking for answers to some questions I have. I seem to remember in the psat that if you bought a one day admission, once you entered the park, you could come back the next day for $10. Is that still true? Are there any types of discount coupons on admission that I might find at local grocery stores? We are planning on spending two days at the park to get everything in. I last visited in 2002, and I am hoping to score some trips on the new rides!! Any other helpful information would be appreciated! Thanks!
I believe that Dunkin doughnuts has a coupon for $16.00 off when you buy a iced coffee. Not positive about that though. I thought Iheard that on the radio. Look on http://www.sixflags.com for the MVP program for the second day ticket.
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!
One day not enough to enjoy all the rides and attractions, with the MVP Pass you can come back the next day for $15 or come back any other day of the regular season for $29.99.
I Hope that helped, and I hope you have a great trip!
Jewels in Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa have discounted tickets (around $7 off).
The come back again tickets are MVPs (multi-visit passes). You can get them from the Season Pass Processing Center next to Triple Play. It's come back the next day for $10.00 or any day during the 2004 season for $15.00. They're no longer called Twickets.
Two days should be enough to get everything you want to. I will make suggestions, but I won't tell you to avoid any ride because that makes people upset.
My Suggestions: Getting to the park early is always good. The lines are not bad at all. The rollercoasters that I would try to go on first would be Deja Vu, Raging Bull, Viper, V2, or at the very worst Superman Ultimate Flight. However, Superman Ultimate Flight is not to good during the day. I heard two reports of an hour and 15 minutes. I would save it till later at night.
Ragin' Cajun is a long wait ride, no matter how short the line looks. I like Deja Vu's outer seats better because of the feeling of falling out except for the front row (front row still feel like you are falling out). If you want to ride the most intense ride in the park in my opinion, check out Fiddler's Fling (across from Iron Wolf).
That's enough of my spiel, and I hope you have a blast.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Go to S:UF when the gates open, then head for B:TR, V2, Iron Wolf, Eagle Red (Revy if you wish), Eagle Blue if you want, Demon.
By this time all the rides will have lines.
Ragin' Cajun's line with the full queues is normally about an hour (the sign says 90 minutes, but that's to scare people away).

Did they change the sign that said wait time-1?
The one time that I waited 1 hour for the ride wasn't that bad at all. If you have time and haven't done it yet(And it's not too sunny), I would reccomend waiting.(But only if you have pretty much done everything else.)
