ill word it diffrent so is it busy on a opening day because i may go and i would like to know because i live 200 miles away and i need to process my seaon pass that day and need to know if i do process my pass right away if the rides will be busy.
I never went there on opening day yet, but I plan to this year. I hear it's not busy but it's not empty either. And don't think SUF won't be open opening day, this is B&M we're talking about. I know SFGAdv's was delayed, but they open a month earlier than we do, and we've got plenty of time to finish the construction. Don't worry about it a month before opening day...
Last year on opening day, the processing center always had a line whenever I would go past. I kept putting it off until around 3. I don't know how long it took, but my sister and brother-in-law took a train ride around the park, and I got my pass and me and my friend Jayne took a ride on Triple Play and Hometown Fun Machine, then we met back up with Tanya (my sis) and Ben (bro-in-law) who had been waiting on a bench for about 2 minutes. So, it will probably take less than one train circut to get your pass. So really, not long at all, even though there was a good sized line. They keep it moving. So in a nutshell, don't do it right away. You'll miss valuable time that you could spend getting on SUF or Deja Vu sooner. (I myself will probably head to Deja Vu first, because of it's low capacity, where even though Superman will be more popular, its a B&M with B&M capacity!)
All indications point to S:UF being open on May 3rd. Every ride should be ready to go except Deja Vu, which has a June target date. Even though S:UF will be open, don't expect the landscaping to be finished.
the kid who said that about daja vu has no prof i doubt they will let a coaster sit there while paying costumers whant on it. So who ever said that it wont be open i whant prof.
I doubt he will reveal his source, because if its true, he doesn't want to take a chance at getting his source canned, or himself canned. If you want proof, just wait until opening day. If it's open, its not true, if it is closed, he was right. You just have to take his word on it.
Besides though there might be a coaster sitting there with paying customers who "want on it", that doesn't mean that maintenance and whoever else is in charge of park operations don't want it open... Just because it's sitting there doesn't mean that it's in perfect operating conditions.
