Just be nice to the grouper and that's ok. I think it's better in my opinion it's like the Disney Parks
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
That’s what I plan to do. That’s also what did last year during FF since there was a grouper for RB. I asked kindly each time and even gave the grouper a thank you.

Also maybe a "grouper gratuity" to get the desired row, eh???

Did American Eagle get new seat belts this year or is it just me? Lots of closed rides today and still one train ops on the B&Ms and Maxx Force. Is early in the season so I’ll cut the park some slack.

Eagle did get new seatbelts. I wish they would refurb the trains, too, like they did for Viper.
Columbia Carousel was cycling while I was walking out today at park close. The front is coming along. The fountain piping has been painted blue and they were filling in the water when I entered the park around 3:30. Dirt has filled the area around the new sign, hope to see some flowers soon!
No new trains have been added since opening day. Goliath has been placed on the scheduled ride closures website and was closed today. Sky Striker was also closed today but is not on the website. Yukon BBQ and Windy City were closed today as well.

I also noticed a lot of new flowers throughout the park when I was there on opening weekend (Sunday). I think the landscape crew is doing a great job to improve how the park looks!

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if the planned Teen Takeover panned out on the ninth of May, if there really was an increased amount of security at the park, or if a whole bunch of teens even showed up at all? I'm assuming not since I saw a vlog that was taken on May 9th and everything seemed fine but I just want to know if anyone even showed up at all.

From what I've seen, the park only uses the retro logo during anniversaries to drive nostalgia and to make it feel more special. I am surprised however that the park didn't use a new logo with the CF font since that seems to be the standard Six Flags font on the website and in marketing aside from on signage in-park.
In a similar vein, I'm kind of disappointed with the finished product of the new fountain sign, especially compared to CGA's. I understand why Illinois weather cannot support palm trees, but I still prefer the bushes at CGA's sign over the flowers.

that's what I've been saying when I saw the logo on in the flower bed. They should have went with the retro logo of it to make it unique then corporatized
