Awesome video from Chicago coaster guy in regard to the 2026 kids' area.

My prediction is this.

I'm predicting, Yukon territory will stay Yukon territory. A custom launched ART family mine train coaster will take the plot of the Go-Karts and have a Yukon theme. and Yukon territory will be spruced up.

Camp cartoon will be rethemed to Camp snoopy and be expanded all the way behind Goliath. Kidzopolis will close and several of the Kidzopolis rides will be moved to the newly themed camp snoopy, along with an additional kids coaster.

That's my prediction.

100 percent this. That’s what I’ve been speculating since the announcement in November. That whole area is ready for a remodel.

Wondering what the end state will be?

Regarding the Go Karts going away? yeah i think we already knew that lol

As for the actual kids area its Looney Tunes 100%
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

Yeah, those go karts are a major eye sore. I'll be happy to see them go!

Good riddance go farts! Never once rode them so could care less.

Also I agree with you about the Looney Toons theme. Keep Snoopy away. Would love a Looney Tunes themed family coster. Roadrunner Express at Fiesta Texas is well themed (minus the haunt props that are visible.) The park could surely benefit from something like that. And then our ride ops can do the “meep meep” during dispatch!

I agree with Snoopy/Peanuts theme because that's what Cedar Fair has at other parks. Kings Island has THE BEST kids area in my opinion!

AND - Kidzopolis area will be transformed into line queue for Iron Eagle: Soaring to New Heights (B&M GIga to replace Eagle)

I can only hope that Little Dipper gets removed when they add the family launch coaster you're predicting! Something like Firechaser Express at Dollywood would be great!
Single Day Ride Count Record

They also have the Penauts/Snoppy theme at CGA in the spot where the go karts are. Little Dipper won’t go anywhere.

Let's not get to ahead of ourselves man, removing Little Dipper would put the park in a bad light after making a heavy emphasis on saving it, its here to stay.

Also there's Looney Tunes Music playing in Camp Cartoon (as i pointed out on one of my videos) so i think that seals the deal that Looney Tunes will be the themed area

Little Dipper is an absolute waste of space. We have Sprocket Rockets!

I did not catch that! I had no idea they were playing Looney tunes music in Camp cartoon.

JackGlass - I really believe you should work for Six Flags/Cedar Fair for planning and development! You come up with great ideas of where to put things and space mgmt!

Long time lurker, first time poster....

Little Dipper is iconic for its history, while its in a odd location it needs and will stay.

Regarding the LT vs. Peanuts debate, I'm on the LT side since I didn't notice an ounce of Peanuts merch when I visited SFStL (haven't visited SFGAm yet) this year in the main gift shop. Wouldn't it make sense for Peanuts merch to appear before a whole land? I assume it would be easier to negotiate merch deals for the parks than ride deals.

The licensing agreement pre-merger Cedar Fair had with Peanuts expires this year pending an extension option to 2030. Meanwhile Six Flags' agreement with Warner Bros., for Looney Tunes and DC Comics IP's, continues to 2053. Unless I missed something about SFEC extending the Peanuts deal, seems more likely that Bugs Bunny could show up at Cedar Point before Snoopy at Great America.

Little Dipper's location made sense at the time, as it was built next to what had been a children's area since the '70s. The park downsized that area to make room for Dipper, only to nuke what was left moving Winner's Circle the following year.

In a sense yeah it made sense at the time, but i can't help to think it still could've been placed somewhere in County Fair, but oh well.

Can confirm for you that there is no peanuts merch at Great America either

I changed my mind once I saw your videos with Looney tunes music playing in camp cartoon. I thought it was going to be peanuts, but now I'm convinced it will be Looney Tunes themed.

I don't think there will be two kids' areas. I think Go-karts will be used for an ART family mine train coaster with Yukon theming, and Camp Cartoon will be the newly expanded and rethemed Looney tunes land.

That's just my prediction for now
