I love the look! Definitely better than the logo.
Yeah man those decals look awesome!! And I agree, I do like those better than the original logo from before. Very cool!

I still think the season pass preview isn’t off the table for this weekend if they already had media day though…

I doubt this very much. The midway isn’t finished yet. There’s wires coming out of the ground and lights and other things still need to go on. Plus the queue isn’t finished yet from what I can tell.

Oh yeah. Pass preview could be Friday…I figured they’d announce the opening date on media day. Anxious to see what Marcus thinks

I think they are doing the commercial shoot sometime tomorrow. My assumption is passholder preview will start Saturday.
Also, I saw Marcus this morning, he said no B&M rattle and super smooth!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He was also siting in the center of the coaster where there wouldn’t be any rattle. And from the look of the POV’s it looks like it shakes

That means nothing. They opened Maxx Force for a preview and half the queue was still being installed.
I’d be shocked if there isn’t some sort of pass preview!

I mean, I saw the bounces too, just hoping that it feels different on ride then a video of it.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pass preview is 100% happening… they wouldn’t have rushed to have a pretty unplanned Media Day. Also they want to pump up the Memorial Day sale.
It’s not going to be any different than X Flight. It’s the nature of a ride that has seats that aren’t over the track. Im not worried. If it bothers you, sit in the middle seats.

Or don't ride it at all if it's "too rough" ?!
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)
Haven’t heard many reviews yet but I’m absolutely blown away by the detail Great America has put into the theming. When I brought up the possibility that they could theme it to coincide with the county fair, that was honestly just wishful thinking. I genuinely thought all we were getting was a couple signs (although signs are there haha). Hopefully there’s more to see and this is what we can expect with theming going forward

Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.
I was able to ride Wrath of Rakshasa today during the media preview.
I think everyone is really going to love this ride. It was a bit slow the first time I rode it in the morning when it was in the low 40's. Even running slow, I thought it felt a lot like X-Flight. By the end of the event when it was in the mid-50's and running more often the ride really started to speed up. It was noticeably more disorienting going into one zero g roll after another in the second half of the ride, and then the final turns to the brake run.
I can only see this ride getting better the warmer it gets.
As far as rattles or roughness. I wouldn't say it's rough at all. Some of the quick changes of direction in the second half throw you a little bit but far from rough. The outside seats seem to rattle more then the inside seats but again, not enough where it's uncomfortable, and the spots it happens in are pretty quick.
I rode in all 3 rows, and the front row was definitely my favorite because of the view. I didn't notice much difference between a second or 3rd row ride. All 3 rows, give about the same ride in my opinion but the front row has the best view.
If anybody has any Wrath questions, I'll try to answer them.
Opening day is May 31st, I didn't hear any mention of any pass previews happening. They still have some work they need to get finished this week, that they weren't able to do because of the weather the past few days.

There’s still some amazing things that are being added to the top of the station that are sitting on the back lot so be on the look out for those this coming week.

Hey Dave! Are the lockers installed yet? And do you know if it will have Flash Pass upon opening?
The massive theming elements HAVE to be for the station arch. They're huge & very detailed. We had to park over by them cause the employees were coming & left lot filled up.
As for the ride itself, she is amazing. This is def going to be a hit. It's funny cause while it's running "slow" cause of weather, it's still hauling. The inversions are snappy & have a perfect pace with great whip. Shockingly, the final inversion was the surprise hit for me. Snapping out of it going into the s-curve was fantastic. Cannot wait to feel how it runs in hot weather. The ride is overall very smooth despite the bouncing you see in videos. The here are a couple moments of a jolt but it is nothing like Piepline or Penguin Trek where there's a rattle through the entire layout. Not at all.
While there's a lot to go in the next week, I'm lowkey obsessed with the theme. It feels very "Ringling Bros" side show carnival like & I'm here for it. The art work/posters for the fair or show is genius tying it into the area.

I'm in the same boat, i was so surprised when i found out it was tieing into the county fair theme and it made me so happy
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

The building to the left of the entrance that I assume are for Lockers was blocked off by a tarp. So it was still a work in progress, not sure if lockers were installed inside or not.
As for Flash Pass, that's a really good question. I didn't think to ask about it.
