If they remove the go-karts. I think that would be a good spot for a family coaster, a couple flats or another kids' area. Something that would draw more traffic to that area

Perhaps you can do your usual magic and show us what rides can fit in Go Karts plot?

Or you could y'know... go back in time

If it were a family coaster, something like the Sierra sidewinder at Knotts, only longer. I think that would be a great addition to Yukon territory

Sierra Sidewinder is a good coaster... I feel like it is too intense for families, but it always has a lengthy line (capacity plays a little into it) and I see plenty of younger kids maybe 8+ riding it so who knows. Cedar Fair only bought the one and it was nearly 20 years ago

I'd rather see a Road Runner themed Family launch coaster if they decide to add a modern family coaster

Isn't it basically the same as a Pandemonium?

Something like quantum accelerator at Six Flags new England? That could definitely work.

I didn't want to double post. So, I made this edit. I just realized. Great America already has a custom coaster built for Mardi gras hangovers plot of land. Patriot at Californias Great America. It probably wouldn't work because it would be way too close to Batman. But I would rather have that than a stupid loop

That cover thing too i think is used for backstage stuff so i don't think think they'd remove it either

It's interesting. Because Vortex (Patriot) was originally built to interact with triple play, the train, etc. Sadly, Californias Great America removed all those attractions. But I did a quick photoshop and you can see how it originally interacted with them.

I learn something new about the odd parallels of the two Great Americas so often & I love It. I had No idea it was designed to interact with those attractions. The two parks are so vastly different & so oddly the same. I love going to the one in Cali to see it all. It weirds me out & makes me so happy.

As for Knotts & Sierra Sidewinder, I've gone so often the last few years being based in LA & Vegas & I somehow always got lucky going on dead days. The longest I've ever waited for anything there was Ghostrider on one train. Brutal. But I'd love a spinner here. Just want it to be squeezed into SWT. Tuck it away by Tsunami Surge & tear some of that old HH path out. The entrance to HH can be the entrance to the spinner.

Yes! It is strange watching a pov of Patriot and realizing that it is a custom-built coaster for Six Flags Great America.... but it isn't.... but it is  I'm very sad to see our sister park closing down. But if they wanted to ship patriot and rail blazer our way, I would be very happy.

Yes! That is another awesome idea, I would love to see a spinner in Southwest territory

They ride a little bit differently.

The Gerstlauer's get intense laterally when they spin a lot, but sometimes you get a balanced car and don't spin all that much. Those rides are not that crazy.

Sierra Sidewinder is intense no matter what. Like the layout itself produces positive g's, regardless or how much you are spinning.

I definitely miss having a spinning coaster at Great America.

I'm not holding my breath. But part of me hopes Ragin Cajun makes its way back to Great America in 2026. It was built for our Mardi gras section, it was themed to our Mardi gras section, and we even had an alligator mascot made for our Mardi gras section. and we should take it back

It wasn't the biggest or fastest coaster. But damn was that thing fun

^ You know, not a half bad squeeze there. It would be super tight with queue and whatnot but it's more logical space wise compared to Wrath for me

Yeah, they would have to clear a few things out. I would love to see this again instead of the back end of Joker

Could it also fit somewhere in the middle of Roaring Rapids?

But honestly I'd rather a Maurer/Mack Spinning Coaster around Roaring Rapids

I’d be surprised. Our park will get heavy investments and the las thing they want to do is add old rides to our park.

Plus it’s never really been CFs model to rotate rides like that. We shall see. But I’d be surprised.
