Came across these in a box in my storage room over the weekend. Taken in very late April or very early May of 2001. V2 has yet to open to the public and was testing that day. Deja Vu was in what appears to be final phases of construction. Appears complete but cranes are still up. Also have a few other misc. shots from around the park that day.
And my apologies ahead of time on the quality of the photos. They were scanned in and originally taken on a one-time use camera.

Testing again
Testing, before it was open to the public.
Some people starting to gather around as testing started...but never did open.
Viper....minus Hurricane Harbor
Yes, I know, cameras on ride are frowned upon. But I was 16 and a dare devil at the time :)

Thanks for posting these. The 2001 & 2002 seasons were probably the last that I absolutely loved going to this park.

Back when operations were at least decent.
Has operations really gone under over the years? What do you blame that on? Bad management or Corporate? How long did you have to wait for rides back then?
