It may not be "lame", but if a ride isn't really popular because it hurts people and get's less and less riders every year, it would be a smart choice to remove.

See Iron Wolf as a perfect recent example.
Why is every topic on this website turning into a "Demon removal" thread? Enough. This is about the PICTORIUM. Not Iron Wolf, not S:UF, not Demon, not Buccaneer Battle...The PICTORIUM.
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!
^^This thread stopped being about the Pictorium long ago. It's old, it smells like mildew, nobody goes, and they should tear it down. Happy? There is really nothing else to say about it.

I disagree. It has posters with the Susan Rosen person on it. The overhead arch just says "Returning to Fright Fest." it never says anything about the Pictorium reopening. It seems as if it's just an ad for her act, which will be returning during Fright Fest.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)

I'm just going to toss this out there but I don't see the pictorium being torn down anytime soon as there a big cost to removing it and leveling it. I recall in some dark places of the inter webs that the aisles of the pictorium were actually built into the land because that hill side contains some huge ass rocks and at the time of building it was just cheaper to make the building into it then get rid of it.
What they could possibly do is extend the front of the the building where the screen is to make an actual theater stage, the seating is all set, not sure how much space is available in the front of the building but the exit could be rerouted to go behind the building walking through the forest of trees, leaving an ADA pathway through the front of the building too)
True, but you still have to wonder what they'd use Pictorium for.
It used to be for showing short movies on the giant screen, in the mold of an IMAX theater. I don't think there's much demand for giant movies at SFGAm. They could remove the screen and do live entertainment, but they already have the Grand Music Hall (and Theater Royale, if they get rid the TDK stuff).
I think 4D movies would be cool, or just gut the inside and build a dark ride.
