I would love the park to add some more flat rides, Off the top of my head:
Huss Giant Jump 2 Huss Frisbee 34 to replace Revolution (I Can dream) Huss Floorless Top Spin to replace King Chaos (I Can dream) S&S Screaming Swings Intamin Coaster Wheel
And, even though I don't think it count's, An Interactive Dark Ride.
I have been in the camp of saying in addition to 1 or 2 new coasters. SFGAm definitely needs a few 2 or 3 flats. 1 of which has definitely got to be a Sky Screamer.
Welcome to the boards. Count me in the camp of the park should get a large model Screamin' Swing. People eater and popular every park I have seen one at.

Cool. Star Flyers are awesome.

I've been on a Sky Screamer at SFDK and Windseeker at Canada's Wonderland. Trust me, We don't need that kind of ride. Condor is 100x more exciting.
I'm with Galvan on this one... I have been on Windseekers and honestly, I loved it! The only ride I can think the we need other then a 'sky screamer' would be a Ferris wheel. Heck! I forgot about this one; bring back hay Baylor! What a great flat we had!
I do not see the point of a Sky Screamer except you are in swings that are high up in the air. Woop dee doo. Do not even mention taking out Hometown Fun Machine! That is one of the best flats that we have. How about we get rid of Buchaneer Battle. That is is crap and I never really see alot of people on it.
I've been on a Sky Screamer and Windseeker and while I would welcome either of them to the park, I wouldn't exactly view them as additions to our thrill ride collection as both were very relaxing and fun, but just not that thrilling. So while I wouldn't complain about getting one, there are many other flat rides that provide a true thrill that I would rather see added first.
If you havent been on a sky screamer you cant judge it imho. I do think that it would go over very well with the gp though especially if it was a larger one like the one texas is getting.

Exactly; great FAMILY fun! ; ) Still would be a great addition!
SFGAm needs new family attractions. Not a new kids area or rides but family oriented attractions. A dark ride would be perfect, or another motion simulator (although they'd really have to step up their game on that one). The money is with families who have children , and unfortunately thrill rides and roller coasters don't cater to that market, on the whole, as well as something families can enjoy together.
Let the "you're wrong, I know because I play RCT" comments begin...
I agree on family attractions - the key word being attractions, not just rides. As Galvan said, the last few family attractions added haven't exactly been the most well received and the park already has a great collection of family rides, especially when compared to other Six Flags parks. I'd like to see more things that the family can do together that aren't just rides. IgNite is a good step in the right direction, but being at closing is a handicap. Things like bringing back a stunt show, mini shows on the train, street performers, parades, and interactive games are all things that families could enjoy together.
Why SF Great America does not have a themed family ride is beyond me. Most of the parks in the chain have some type (shooters, boat ride, log flume, ect) yet the closest the park has is a roller coaster with a height limit. You would figure someone would look at other parks around the country that have one, see their popularity and think "That might just work here!"
I haven't been on a Sky Screamer, but I've been on 2 Windseekers, and those are really good. It may be a dull ride, but the height really gets me on these rides. I know if it was only a few fee off the ground like a wave swinger, then it wouldn't be all that exciting. It's a good ride though, and I think it would fit well at SFGAm.
Screaming Swings are another one I've always liked. First rode Skyhawk at Cedar Point, and I loved that, even though I got stuck on it. Another simple, relatively tame, but good ride.
Heard something about Funtime getting an order for a Star Flyer for 2014, which could potentially be a Sky Screamer. I could be wrong, though, I might've misread it.
If it is true, I would love for SFGAm to have a SkyScreamer, I'd never get to ride one otherwise.

Yes, I do think that SFGAm does need more thrilling flat rides. As someone has said already, Revolution most of the time isn't even on the fast cycle, and when it is on it's fast cycle, the fastest part of the ride is such a short part. Someone also said that King Chaos was unimpressive, and I agree. I think of King Chaos as trying to be a Chance Zipper ride, but it fails miserably in my opinion. When I go by it, the lines never look that long. I haven't seen the back of that line being used in such a long time. Maybe, it happens during Fright Fest Saturdays, but it just doesn't seem like that.
My whole theory is that if you have more thrilling flat rides, the less coasters you would really have to build. Coasters cost a lot more money than a Chance Wipeout, or Chance Flying Bobs. On the other side of things, I think our park has a really good collection of flat rides - not necessarily the greatest "THRILL" flat rides, but we should be lucky. Go to so many Six Flags parks, and they hardly have much. Check out Great Adventure, Georgia, or Six Flags America, and you will think we are blessed as how many we do have.
To me, the Hometown Fun Machine is fun. I think a problem for that ride though is it's location as it's hidden away in a corner.
My only thing about the flats at a lot of parks is that they are really aging rides. I can even talk about all the Eyerly Monster rides at the Cedar Fair parks. Only time will tell when all those rides will cost a ton to operate because of them getting hard to find parts.
As for the Skyscreamer / Windseeker, I have been on both, and they are just a gimmick really. I don't understand why SFGAm would even need them because the park has the swings, Sky Trek Tower, and Condor already. I would even include Ricochet as a swing type of ride even though it's a little different. I don't get the thrill from a Skyscreamer, or Windseeker, but it's really about scaring people with their fear of heights. It's a swing ride, and I did even wonder on the Windseeker whether or not this thing is going to fall apart. That's not thrilling in my opinion. It's a swing ride high up in the air. The breeze isn't bad, but really thrilling? Nah.
I still think the park should get a dark ride. I think every Six Flags should get one or even two. To me, it would be great if Hometown Fun Machine was moved where Ragin Cajun was, and they put a dark ride right by the buildings around the current location of Hometown Fun Machine, and make an additional building that goes in the back area where the Fun Machine is too for the dark ride. Than, send Ragin Cajun to SFOG. SFOG sends Georgia Scorcher to SFStL, and SFStL removes Ninja, and it goes to the junkyard. SFOG probably could fit in 2 more flats with Ragin Cajun because Scorcher is bigger than RC.
