The pyrotechnics are not a major part of the show. They don't use them a lot, but I did think that they way they used them was really cool, especially during the DJ scene.
The focal point of the show is really the projections. Even if you aren't into song and dance shows, I would at least see it once since it does have some really cool technology in it and some really amazing projected effects. Although IgNite doesn't seem to be the hit they were hoping for, having the ability to do these big 3D projections could really be an asset for the park beyond IgNite. I'd especially love to see them being used for Fright Fest.

It was never meant to be a hit, just something marketable to keep people in the park and spending money later than normal.
