Season Pass Processing lines

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I went to Fright Fest on the last day (2012) and remembered how ridiculous the lines were for the Season Pass Processing. The line went from the cash register all the way around the gazebo and under the bridge by the Fun Machine. This was quiet the sight to see! Any one else see something like this before? Seems to me like the passes are getting more and more popular/practical.

Opening day 2012. Holy $h1t. It's a weird photo, but it looped around Hometown Square and there were multiple lines for people who had their voucher printed or those who still had to type in information. They even had computers set up in the Fire House to get more people through.

It was about an hour line and I came back the next day to get my pass. It was nice.

Thanks for the photo! I was there the day after you (2nd day) and I remember something similar. Still, the line on that last FF day was almost the scariest thing in the park

What?? Lines for pass processing were full during FrightFest?? Thats crazy, I would never think Id ever hear that. If anything, since its the end of the season, I would think, like most people, that they would wait till when the park opens the next year/season to purchase and process their passes. This is just odd. I also see an Avenged Sevenfold tshirt!

Many people got their SP during FF because if you were to purchase one during FF, you will be allowed to use it for the rest of that year and all of the next year. It's a nice little "half-secret" lol

The lines for season passes were long during Fright Fest because if you bought four or more you got not only the normal discount, but a free upgrade to gold level season passes. Normally during FF season pass lines are almost non existent, during FF 2011 I was able to walk right in and be done in about five minutes.
