Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Clearly this add on of the free parking pass is in response to the addition of X-Flight. Not many people know about this deal though. I told my friends and most ppl at my work and not one single person had heard of the deal. Its still kinda new though Im sure the park hopefully will be massively promoting this deal all over the park.

^Not really. Every Six Flags park is doing that, that I know of. Last year some SF parks did do that, and ours didn't though. It seems like SFOG, and SFStL did that, but now they are doing that.

It's actually on all the signage all over the park. Noticed it when I was there on labor day. The boy and I are going again tomorrow as well.

Can someone display here the coupons and their discounts? I live in Park Forest and we are both out of work, but are dying to get to Fright Fest. Just trying to find the cheapest rought to do it. It will be my 1st time getting a season pass and to be honest, it all hinges on the coupons i.e. food in the park, merchandise. I called the park and the lady that answered the phone and the other 2 people had no clue about anything. As a matter of fact the 3rd person I talked to told me not to be cheapskate and just buy one. I told him well if their parking prices were'mt soooo obscene I would buy the passes right now but he can stick the high prices of food and normal parking. He made me extremely angry.

^That was rude and uncalled for, for someone at guest services to call you a cheapskate. Complain!! Then maybe you can get a free ticket or coupon lmao! Seriously tickets for Fright Fest got jacked up the last 3 weeks or so.

Friday* Oct 7: $34.99
Fridays* Oct 14, 21, 28: $39.99!
Oct 1, 2, 7-10**: $34.99
Weekends starting the 15th: $44.99!!
*Fridays Park is only open 5pm-11pm. :(
**Park is open for Columbus day 10am-6pm only.

If you want to save go the first 2 weeks! Otherwise the only coupon option you have are the coke cans which save you a bit of cash not too much. They really have no deals at this time in the year because FF is such a popular event and they know people will mostly go no matter what so they jack up the prices and try to squeeze as much money out of us as possible!! :x

Necro, The PARKING is what pisses me off the most!!! The charges for parking are pure profit. I mean they havn't paved that lots for years. The most it should be is 5 bucks Geezus I'm getting mad now..lol. Hell ..I might even just go to Bengston's this year and say the hell with it.

I got a parking pass this year, and I tell you, I WOULDN'T have gone like 20 times this summer if not for that. $20 a visit is way too expensive in my opinion, but I understand. Most people visit once or twice, tops.

We are the very small minority.

Ever park in Chicago for a sporting event or play? $20 is a steal! If it was $5 to park we would be getting a crappy used hang and bang instead of Wingrider!
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

Agreed IGGY, but compared to every other amusement park company in the country, SF seems to be the most expensive for regular parking rates.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Most small parks charge around that much for a normal admission ticket. I paid $40 (includes a walgreens discount) to get into Wild Adventures this season.

As a matter of fact the 3rd person I talked to told me not to be cheapskate and just buy one.

That may be rude but its also rude to call a business and hound them about discounted tickets. It's not the parks business to provide you with discounts because your unhappy with the prices. I think the parking prices are too high also but when a season pass is $70 I would expect some sort of fishy pricing strategy going on. How can they possibly make money selling an entire seasons worth of admission for $70?
