Giant Drop Question

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hi Everyone!

So, seeing as many of you have been on the Giant Drop, this may seem a stupid question. I recently went on a ride a little like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjnAvsIABzA&feature=related, and I was wondering if the Giant Drop was this, but bigger. Because, if it is, that makes my worries a whole lot less. Basically, is the Giant Drop under pull or, what. I just need some info because I have a fear of falling (but I love roller coasters) and I wish to conquer this fear in the next little while. If someone could give me some details and their reviews of the ride, that would be great! Thanks!
Last Visit, American Eagle BACKWARDS 5 times in a row right before the park closed. I cannot WAIT to go back for Fright Fest!

Giant Drop is a very fun experience. It's exactly like that. Just, waaay bigger.

Same concept, different execution. I greatly prefer the ARM Super Shots, they are much more gut wrenching than the variety like Giant Drop.

That Super Shot even though it's not as tall; to me is much more intense than the Giant Drop. They do even make taller ones than that though like there was one at Cypress Gardens amusement park, but now that place is closed. So, I like the Super Shot better. I even like the Moser Spring Ride (up and down ride) better than Giant Drop. I'm not talking about the one in Kidzopolis either. That's a Zamperla Jumping Star, and the one time I rode that, that was awful! For the Moser ride you can find it at carnivals, and at Busch Gardens, but that's not as tall as the Super Shot. Plus, after the 3rd time I heard about Intraride Generation Drop 2 cables snapping (1 with people, and 2 times without at other parks - in other countries I believe), I don't go on Giant Drop anymore.

You can see plenty of videos of Giant Drop on that same website you linked the original video (youtube) to see what it does.
