The problem with that theory though is that they close STT at 9 pm when they have Glow in the Park Parade. You aren't going to see much at 9 pm. Usually fireworks are at 9:30 pm.

Eagle is 7 feet taller than the new ride. X flights lift will be in exactly the wrong direction though.

Eagle's lift hill is only 127 ft. tall. It goes underground at the bottom of the drop, though, which is why the drop is over 140 ft. X-Flight will be right up there with Eagle.

You're right. I read the actual height and the drop height backwards. That makes sense considering it doesn't seem that high, but the drop takes longer than what it appears to be. I saw on an old construction video of them digging what looked like a trench when building the bottom of the drop. I can't believe it took them almost a year to build it.

Really? I have never heard of something closing earlier than the rest of the park? Do you know why STT happens to close at 9? I mean yes I guess most people use it to look around the park but wouldn't you think that people would still like to ride it after 9?

On days that have Glow In The Park, Triple Play closes at 8:30. Hometown Fun Machine, Sky Trek Tower, Condor, King Chaos, and Big Easy Balloons close at 9:00.
