Rest of the season traffic

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

hows the traffic for the rest of the season? I try to attend when its not too heavy being early season. I know the kids are back in school and the reading tickets have expired, but has anyone been there this week? Hows traffic at this time during the weekend?

Yesterday was ideal. Longest wait we had was 20 minutes for Giant Drop due to clown ride-ops and 3 car operation. The line started at the point where it splits for the two sides of the tower. We were at the park from 2-6 and were able to accomplish all the coasters (except for the wild mice and Superman- we chose multiple laps on Wolf/Batman/Demon instead). I assume this is how it will be for the rest of the season save for weekends and Fright Fest, but it's difficult to predict crowds for weekends/Fright Fest.

Going today. Ideal day as most college kids are back on campus, little kids are about to soon, low temps and plenty of sun. Using my friend free ticket. And $25 off from BK.

From here to mid September it isn't bad at all. Labor Day can get busy. Usually Fright Fest is pretty busy which is more closer to a nice day in July sort of crowd. A few times I've gone to FF and it wasn't too bad but other times you hardly get to ride much.

Now is the calm before the storm. Frightfest is either hit or miss with the crowds. I went opening weekend and it was solid. Not long waits and weather was perfect cool chilly october air. Shhh! I dont want anyone going opening weekend. I want it to be slow. lol.

Labor Day Weekend is going to have some crowds. I don't know about this Saturday, but maybe it will have crowds because the waterpark is closing soon, and the waterpark wasn't open this week plus on Saturday it's open till 10 pm.

Weekend will be a little more crowded, but this weekend shouldn't be very bad. Labor Day weekend will probably be bad, but not as bad as Memorial Day or 4th of July.

The flash pass was the same price at the park and it did come in handy at some points today, it was pretty crowded this afternoon.

I think I got on around 30 to 50 rides... but I can't remember exactly
