Any this weekend? When do they start? My brother and sister in law would go if I had some to give. Otherwise they will hit Gurnee Mills.

Huh? Are you asking if there's discounts on season passes? Or are you asking if theres discounts for passholders? The answer is yes, there is a discount to get a season pass if you buy the 4-pack, its $64.99 each, otherwise I think its around $75+tax for one individually bought pass. There are small discounts in the retail stores in the park if you show them your season pass, but the discount is real small. I'm almost positive the discount only covers the taxes, which in reality is almost nothing. You can still make a payment plan for the season pass, the program allows for 3 payment installation. Thats it, and if you have a season pass, you should have your season pass coupon booklet too. Also this weekend is NOT bring a friend for free. Hope this helps and/or answers your odd stated question. lol. :)

^^That small discount is awesome when you don't expect it. Opening day I bought a IW/RB Shot glass set ($3 at Carousel Gifts!!) and a few of the novelty lollipops for coworkers and it took $7 off. Thats almost 2 gallons of gas and with my trusty corolla thats roughly 2 round trips to SFGAm!!!
Missing Shockwave more and more every day.

Too bad only half price discounts this weekend. Looks like it will be just me at the park Sunday. My brother, sister-in-law and nephew do not want to pay so much money just to spend majority of the time at the water park anyway.

Well, its not gonna be that hot anyway to even go to the waterpark. The park is real expensive. Admission, food, parking, lockers, games, flash passes, etc it starts adding up so yeah the park is a bit expensive. But like the rest of us I'm sure you knew that lol.

I refuse to buy passes anymore. Not until we get a new major ride added to warrant the cost. Been on everything anyway. What is the point? I like to enjoy myself and waiting in line lets me get a nice tan. But yeah parking and admission even the $34.99 online is pricey for the two of them and my nephew is 5 almost so same price for him too I think. That and gas. I do not blame them. I just wish I would have someone to go with as since 2009 I have been by myself.

The park charges admission based on height, not age. So unless he's unusually tall for his age (I'm talking growth disorder tall), he won't be full admission for a few more years.

I have a question. I have a season pass but have not gone to the park to get the booklet yet, If I go to the park, and get the booklet on a day that you can bring a friend free and then I go back outside the park and give a friend the free ticket would that work?

The cost....is still underpriced for what the park should be charging for season passes in my opinion. Which is probably why parents still see it as a "child care" option during the summer I could totally see them jacking the price if a major addition were to come this way (which they should do now regardless). I know by mid-summer they increase the price but even that increase is still a deal!
