I am going to start to be building the most accurate recreation of Six Flags Great America/ Hurricane Harbor that the RCT3 comminuity has ever seen...I believe it will be the SFGAm for RCT3 to go to...
So my question is will you guys help me out with accuracy, when ever possible? I know the park pretty good now.
First thing, I need pictures of Hurricane Harbor, pics of the slides, resturanrts there, souviner stores, the layout, etc. whatever pictures of Hurricane Harbor you have please send them to me, or post them up in the thread...
Nice, good luck with that, I tried to do it, but the park size was too small, make sure you use a larger park map than the sandbox mode, be sure to edit that.

Dude good luck! i've tried doing that and i couldn't get much farther than Orbit (front), Superman (left), or the bridge to SWT (right) in sandbox mode. I think the maps only 100x100. You should make it 200x200 at least.
Some suggestions i have are you really need to be carefull in HTS. The buildings and the scenery need to be very precis for whizzer, HT station, and the grand music hall. THe other thing with HTS is getting out of it and going into the fountain area by orbit. The path turns to the left alittle around the chicken resturant then snaps back to the right and then expands. It also dips down a little by the bathrooms and the bridge to SWT.
The scenery you really need to pay attention to also is in Orleans Place and Mardi Gras. Orleans place is very straight but has a lot of shops and the path sometimes goes to the side to a very thin lined path.
Best of luck with that project. Hope you have a powerful machine to handle everything thats going to be in it. One option you can do is make sections of that park in different sandbox's. One sandbox could be Hometown Square, while a different sandbox could be Yankee Harbour. That way you will have enough room to handle everything, and your computer won't explode once its filled with the rides, and peeps.
Can't wait to see it.
yes, well now I'm dealing with spacing issues with the park, I'm tweaking it till it's just right, So far most of the rides fit in well, without a problem, when I start doing the scenery and further landscaping, then i'll see if it needs to be moved or reconstructed....
There's a problem with the recreation process, It seems that the game will lag heavily with a park that's going to be this big, however I'm NOT cancelling the project, it's going to be post-poned until Atari can fix the lag problem with a patch. I will however build little by little, buildings, stations, etc. So that I have everything I need when I do start on the park itself....
I dont think there will be a patch for that because the game needs to have higher than minimum requirements for everything, otherwise it will lag. On my computer, it runs really smooth with a full waterpark, 17 coasters, 5000 guests, 20+ flat rides, and tons of scenery.

beleive me, my computer is higher them the minimun requirements, it has everything needed for the game, however it still lags like sh*t!
