So after over two years of pushing myself to do a RCT3 Park, here you go. I hope you like it. (BTW Can someone help me with billboards and the David Walsh cheat which won't work for me for some reason) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update One September 9th 1982 Ben Carpenter, local resident and coaster enthusiast:
I couldn't believe my eyes when reading the paper this morning. They're building an amusement park only 15 minutes from my home!!:
Michigan Times wrote: A new amusement park is set to debut in Bliss, Michigan in April 1983. Reed Blance, an entrepreneur from Arkansas, has announced his plans to open Michigan Funland on April 16th of next year. The 200 acres of land in which the park will occupy, previously owned by a farmer, was purchased by Reed's father, Marcus Blance Junior in 1979. The land was given to Reed when Marcus moved back to Arkansas. Construction was started in March of this year and is expected to be completed by March of next year.
The park has also released this logo.
Wow! I need to go check this out.
Unfortunately, this road sign was as far as I could get because of all the construction taking place.
I'll make you sure to keep you updated. - Ben Carpenter
As for David Walsh, you have to press Control + U to hide the UI. F10 for screenshots. It also should be useful to tell you about the Freelook camera. Go to options, the Camera View tab, and change from 'Normal' to 'Freelook'. It helps with ground pics and more of an open view.
The next update will probably we around tomorrow afternoon. Since the last update, I have finished a nice looking parking lot, and I am currently working on the park entrance. Once the construction of the park is completed, updates will be more frequent. Thanks,
Update 2: Ben Carpenter ------------------------------------------------------------------------ March 20th, 1983
I stopped by the park today to check out construction progress.
The Park has added some signs at the entrance of the parking lot.
Wow! The parking lot looks really nice with all the landscaping. It's pretty big, too.
Multiple construction vehicles are still on site.
I wonder what this sign could be for. Perhaps one of the roller coasters?
I was just about to get to the juicy stuff, including the nice looking park entrance, but my camera died. I'll be back next month for opening day. Until then,
bad news. The reason I haven't written anything in here is well, the park is finished. My new computer actually had problems involving me having to return it.
I hope to have a new park for you guys soon, much better than this one
(Also, in case anyone's is wondering what that asteroid sign was for, it was for an arrow looper)
