I'm a really bad Parkmaker (SFGAm Recreation)

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.

I am a really bad parkmaker. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. I'm doing a recreation of SFGAm. And it's really bad! So I was wondering what people think of it. I'm on spring break. so i have a lot of time to work on it.

Any thoughts will be apreciated.

the only things I noticed were there's supposed to be some water between the midway and fun machine and below whizzer. speaking of whizzer, your layout is off. aside from that's its very nice.

one question, now that there is double carousel, why aren't people using it? how much simpler would it be to plop the double decker down than to build two?

well not just you, but I see lots of recreations that use stacked carousels instead of the double decker. anyway, its just soemthing that's been bothering the heck out of me, not a criticism.

I did the water on Whizzer. and posted some more screens. Are there anything wrong with these. Or should i move on to southwest. I would do Orleans, but i want to see Mardi Gras next month. so i know of any new things. I did call the motion sim Stargate SG-3000. I think i'm going to start southwest Territory Tomorrow.

O And what exactly is wrong with the Whizzer. I've never really seen the layout. The parts i didn't know i got from something i downloaded.

Ive been making one for 3 weeks now and its lookin good. i like yours.
Suggestion: U'll run out of room on the map. Even on the highest setting. Space everything closely. No one ask me about mine yet, because i'm not showin any screens or anything till i know i have enough room.
If anyone has any pre-made coasters, can I use them? I'm not good at building the coasters. Also if anyone has the ride creator and can create the rides (e.g.: Triple Play) that would be great :)

Your park is lookin good. :)

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Thank you. I finished actually building viper yesterday, but it's not in the park yet and i don't have the buildings done.

I also finished building Iron Wolf in the Roller Coaster designer. And Batman. But Batman deleted itself somehow. I have to redo it.

Does anyone have any pics of the V2 queue? I've never actually seen it. I only ride it at night when there is no line. so i just walk up to the station. and another question. Are there any dippin dots stalls in Yukon?

Thanx for your help.

Edit: ZJohn- I used amazing earls tilted whirler for Fiddler's fling. (Or rather, i will) i know it's now right but i don't want twenty scramblers in one park. I also don't know what to use for Big Easy baloons. I downloaded amazing earls ripsaw for revelution and the others are already in the game. I'm never sure what to do for ERC though. I usually do another scrambler. But your right. It would be nice to have a "Troika"/Triple play ride. I have the amazing earls swinger for whirligig. And i also found a cement Queue line.

There should be a link on the homepage to the roller coaster recreations. I think they are pretty nicely done.

Today i added one or two more things.

1. Viper. This looks wrong. And i know the spaces are werid but i can't fix it. Does it look that bad?

2. The unfinished splashwater line. I really wasn't sure how to do this one. I've only been on it a couple of times, and there's never been a line, so i haven't paid much attention.

3. The ugly Market. I don't know what's wrong with my farmer's market but it really doesn't look right. And i'm not sure how to make farmer bob out front. And i still need to make the stage too.

I need help. I can't remember all of the small exact details in County Fair. and i kind of gave up on southwest territory.

I've been working a lot lately becuase, like i said before, i have a lot of time on my hands becuase of spring break.

Demon should only have rock formations through the second loop, not the first too. Demons letters should be red, Viper should have more of a curve up into the big turnarounds, SWF's supports should be bluish green, Sky Trek should be white, Whizzer should be dark green, Vu should only have 1 queue house, with yellow canvas cover, also it exits on the wrong side.

it would be much easier to critique it if you posted the file so we could explore the park ourselves instead of relying on your screens.

Your viper looks good. Move it closer to Whizzer though. There's too big of a gap. Otherwise you're doing pretty well.

I can't really post screens because my RCT2 is on a different computer and I have to save it to a disk and I'd keep going back and forth between computers.

the railroads not too close. When waiting in line, the train will pass right next to you. and it basically right there. You are just distracted by the pictorium when you are riding.

viper may have 5 3 bench cars per train, but RCT only allows you 3 max. I think its 3 anyway...may be four.
