1/18/2012COMING SOONGBP, will try something new in 2012....no more B&M/Intamin Hyper Coasters; This time I'm going INVERTED. Dragon, my latest work is underway and some preview images are available at my facebook page. This Inverted was spawned by a comment by CoasterNick on my youtube video for the 2011 recap, he asked me about a possible Inverted Coaster in 2012 so I decided I'm going to give it a shot!
2/05/2012I've made some slight progress today and I am looking for feedback on my page, you can find the link in my signature. Two new Screenshots showing off new catwalks and supports have been uploaded.
TRAILER:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ser-O8OhP_82/12/12More Progress made on Dragon today, mostly with the 3D model but over the week I completed the supports up to the third inversion out of five....so the support work is about 45%-50% complete. As for the model I added a catwalk in front of, and behind the station platform for the brakes/transfer devices. Catwalk on the lift for the most part is completed; just need to fix some of the rails so they are the correct height....You can see this issue in the latest teaser. As for a higher quality environment, I have made what I call Real 3.0. The environment you seen in Ascension was Real 2.2 which only introduced a new ground texture, while 2.0 had a new skybox. Real 3.0 introduces higher resolution ground and water textures along with a new skybox which has a resolution more than triple of Real 2.2.

2/13/12Today was a day of progress, that's for sure....so much was added, the model has reached over 50MB in size.
Some Screenshots and details follow:
This first image is of the brand-new Queue house added to Dragon, this is the only outer queue as there's a queue under all three sections of the main building. I made the top look like a tent style with a mesh so that it's see-through and offers a better view.

I know it's mostly black, but ASCENSION: CRY OF THE DAMNED returns! .....But only as a 3DS object. I decided it's a good Idea to keep my previous ride in the work space so you got something to looks at other than a horizon of green.
This is an overview of what it looks like now. I understand that Ascension is a bit close to the midway. I'm working on a fix for that.
2/16/12 FINAL UPDATEAs for being the last update, I really debated whether or not to release screenshots. Ultimately, I decided it was a better idea but I did so without the scenery.
Anyway, Dragon made huge progress in these past 3 days, the support work is finally done! The model is nearing completion with only the exit ramp remaining. As for a release date, it has been set for February 28th for youtube and March 6th for Download at Coaster Crazy. The downloadable will not include Real 3.0 Environment and it's possible it won't include the model depending on it's size. There's a possibility I can slim it down in order to still include it. We will just wait and see.
