We have received word that a group of Entrepreneurs have purchased about 200 acres of land in Lake Delton, WI. The land is heavily wooded and right off of the lake, close to Downtown. Apparently their intentions are to make this an “Amusement Park.” This “park” would be about three and a half hours away from Marriot’s Great America. We’ll keep you updated as this story unfolds.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2.
Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel)

Hello! My name is James Harrison. I am one of the engineers who helped plan out Marriots Great America in Gurnee. The rumors have been true! A new Amuesment Park is being built in the Dells. As of now, we plan to have 6-8 rides on our Opening Day, which we plan to be on Spring, 1980 Ive been hired by a few buisness men to lead the planning of this whole park, which will start out relativley small. We would like to include a coaster in our opening day line-up. We are currently in discussion with Shwarzopk, Intamin, and Arrow. What kind of coaster would you, the enthusiasts, like to see on Opening Day 1980? All opinions are welcome! See you soon!
