I have RCT1 and when ever i install LL it says it has compatablity (sp) issues and to contact hasbro and then theres a link that wont work, what should i do? by the way is Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! in a different series than the original roller coaster tycoon that has CF and LL?
i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...
RCT3, and Soaked are completly different games than RCT1 & 2. The only thing compatable with the new RCT series are tracked rides. As far as helping you out, sorry, I can't remember the last time I even saw my RCT1 disk. You might want to head on over to http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=261. Hopefully somebody over there could help you.
I'm guessing you're using XP. if that's the case, the fix is to run the program under compatibility mode. right-click the icon and choose Properties. go to the Compatibility tab and check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box then choose either Windows 95 or Windows 98 from the drop down menu. it should run under either setting.
if that doesn't work or if you're not using XP, let me know and I'll see what I can dig up.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
^Me neither. I can understand RCT2. But RCT1 that is like 5 years old.
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"

Its more modern and up to date with other computer games, like with 3D graphics. RCT 3 also takes longer to load a park even with a fast computer too
