I got a firewall and I cant get through either. it just starts loading and never stops. The page turns white and im too lazy to wait for it to show up.

Try disabling it. If it works when it's disabled, then you know the firewall is the problem and make a rule for it or something that lets you access that site, or just disable it every time you want to view it. I have Norton, and it seems to block a lot of sites.
