Jeez how long does Atari take to respond to e-mails?

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.

As for your second problem, we need to see the specs on your system.

I will help you clean out old files on your computer then. Delete the jcats steelworx then reinstall on. Rct3 Vodhins page. Then only extract it once to your style and themed folder i will explain. When you install jcats steelwrox extrac to . Style and themed. this is how you do. Go under my computer, local disk, programs files and atari, then ther will be a folder it is style then there is another folder themed. You will extract all the jcats steelworx files to the themed folder. Any other problems if that dont work contact me on this site

Post your dxdiag info. To do that, find the run command from your windows program list. Once that comes up, type dxdiag and press enter. A window will pop up showing you information on video drivers, amount of ram, etc, etc. Copy, and paste that info here. Or, you can just tell me how much memory you have. Type of video card you have, or if it is a graphic chipset. The version of DirectX your running.

^You have a good system, make, model, processor, but i think that your RAM, P. File dont have enough to let RCT3. You also may need Direct X V. 10. Also, what kind of video card do you have? RCT3 requires and extremely good video card.

The most likely case is that you dont have enough memory to support it. THere is something you can do. Go to start, all programs, accesories, system tools- and use the disk defragmentor. That should help a lot.

Do you know if you have an graphics chip, or a graphic card? If you have a chip, you may not be able to play the game. Your memory might be a problem as well. RCT3 is a system hog, and will chew up just about all of your resources when you play it.

^There are a lot of reasons why

- doesnt chew up a ton of space
- doesnt require a good graphic chip
- is a lot easier to work with
- better graphics
- more scenery
- more scenarios
- larger park options
- and i'm sure there are more than that

That's where I bought RCT3 Platinum at for $30.00. If you don't have RCT2, You can exchange RCT3 Gold that doesn't work for RCT Triple Pack which is I believe $20.00 also. RCT2 is AMAZING!!!!!!!! To bad it doesn't work on my new computer. :(

An error message pops up every time a play RCT3 but once I click OK and click again and repeat the process and eventually the game will start up. It's weird.

It's just a quick merror mesage that comes up saying runtime error and a click ok. Sometimes I have to click on it close to 50 time, sometimes 20 timees, and sometime it works on my first try! It's very weird!
