My Dejavu Recreation

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.
Postby FRD714 on January 17th, 2006, 9:51 pm
I have just started a Dejavu recreation with No Limits. Let me tell you, its not as easy as I thought. Since the tracks cross, I have to modify the cobra roll and its giving me some problems, but Ill figure it out.

Should I use a compact invereted coaster or a face to face coaster like Invertigo?

Any other tips or hints, post them here.

Use the compact inverted roller coaster.
Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.

^Ok, but this recreation is just not turning out good. Ive looked at pics of Vu and everything else. I even have a satellite picture to try and make it look right. The cobra roll seems impossible to do. Ill try again tomorrow.

Good news: I got the cobra roll to work, so the only thing left to do is the towers and the supports.

Sadly, I cant test the ride becuase I dont have a 3D acceleration card, so its up to you guys to help me out once its done.

Not even close to done and theres many mistakes. I cant test the ride either. All its missing is the second tower, but it still runs.

Well I downloaded it and I found some issues. I'm sorry but this track is really rough and bumpy. You shouldn't use so many vetex's on the cobra roll until you are really good at smoothing tracks because the more vetexes you have the better shaping you can do except the harder it is to smooth it out. Oh, and you should get rid of the stairs on the lift and on the beginning of the loop it pulled 6 g's. (which is way to much) Good luck though on getting it right.

Like I said before, I cant even test the ride. I have no idea what it does. I think I may just forget this coaster. Its giving me too many problems.

Your right Gangsta Fruit, I should work on smaller and less challenging coasters first. I doubt I ever try rebuilding this one.

Well I've started one now. I'm almost done. I'm about 85% done. I only have to finish the supports on the second tower and put in trees. I will let you guys download it when I'm finished. It will probably be tomarrow sometime or else on Saturday.
