This was a cool day... It was me, my family, my friend, my sister's friend, and my mom's friend. So, our van was packed to the max all the way down there. But, it was completely worth it. Got there at around 11:00, got our tickets from the huge Chrysler tent, and walked to the gates. For any of you who didn't know, this was a special event for owners of Chrysler minivans (Chrysler rented out the park). After we got in line to get in the gates (we were right in front), we found out that the park didn't open until 12:00... Bummer. But they finally opened up at around 11:30, we got in, and walked around a lot until 12:00. I was expecting it to be really empty, but it wasn't the extreme "Last Blast" empty that I was hoping for. But still, our longest wait was 30 min. for Deja Vu row 1a. Everything else was only about 10 - 15 min. I'll just give my ride totals for this 6 hour day (they were open 12:00 - 6:00).Raging Bull: 2Deja Vu: 2Viper: 1AE Blue: 2Iron Wolf: 1B:TR: 1S:UF: 1 (no switchbacks open, line started at the Mr. Mxyzptlk sign)V2: 4 (station was half-empty all day, so we kept getting on and off)Demon: 2Giant Drop: 1Triple Play: 1
This was the first time I've been there since any fright fest decorations were up, so I'm not sure... I noticed the Southwest Scaritory sign, and Iron Werewolf... Um, the Ameri-go-round was completely decorated and looked cool... Chubasco is renamed Terror Twister. I also saw the Trollway sign on the bridge near Deja Vu.
Cool. Usually the troll bridhe is near batman but they moved it this year for Camp Crystal Lake. What about ssa, were the Superstition signs up there? Also, was there any other stuff, signs, anything?
Not to go off topic or anything. Although it sounds like you had a really cool day. I was just wondering can anyone give me some info on what, and where camp crystal lake will be. I know it is from the movie but what is it gonna be about at SFGAM. Also I heard rumors about freddy krueger at fright fest. Is This true?
