So yesterday I went to the park with some friends, and here is what happend. (I think I am going tomorrow too, so I will try and take pictures)
FIRST, before we even got in, we got surveyed. They pretty much got our age and basic stuff, and then asked us what kind of attraction we would want next. of course my friends and I want a big roller coaster. I mean, who doesn't want that thrill?
We got in, and it was really cool. As usual, their decorations are cool. We got there are around 6:00 PM. We decided to go on Superman, and the line was not too bad. The only thing is that my friend wasn't even allowed to bring her purse on, so we HAD to get a locker, and it's a pain, because you can only open it once, and we had to get a few lockers around the park.
I only rode like 6 roller coasters that day. The lines weren't too bad, but I really rode the most of my rides at opening and closing. We got on Superman in about 20 minutes which was pretty good. And it looks like people finally notices TDK isn't amazing. I kept hearing people getting off like, "Dude, that sucked." I really thing it was a horrible decision for Six Flags to buy 3 TDKs. And why would they put one in SFGAm when there is already a wild mouse roller coaster. They also put the best themeing on it. Raging Bull deserves new scenery.
After Superman, we went on some flats, and then we went on Viper. Viper is seriously such an under rated ride. Every one wants to hit up all of the B&Ms, but wooden roller coasters seriously can be so much better. There was no line at all, but as usual their station takes forever to get on the ride. We were like close to the front which I hate, but my friends didn't like the back that much. I love the back. It is such a good feeling, and gives you so much more air time.
After that, we rode Demon 3 times. I hadn't rode Demon for like 5 years before that, and it was a little worse that before. It really is a good ride, and the first drop is good for it's height, but seriously, I can't turn my neck to the right without having pain because of it. But the demon is such a good ride, and six flags should keep it. Everyone needs a vekoma. And the second loop in the front row is so intense.
We got food after, and it was getting dark. Let me tell you, the view of the park at fright fest from high up is so nice. The park really is a nice place. I got $20.00 cheese fries, and I almost threw up just from eating them. But theme park food is always fun to have.
I caught a ride on Iron Wolf after, and that ride is just amazing to me. My balls hurt, and my ears hurt from hitting the head rest, but it is just an amazing ride. I hope they get new cars for that ride, and try and fix it up a bit.
I met up with more friends after, and we went on King Chaos 2 times. That ride scared me. When we were dangled over the water, I really get scared of like falling, but that's what rides do to you. After we went to Johnny Rockets so the rest of my friends can eat, and we all went on V2 after. I hat that wait. It goes so slow. I rode in the back for the first time, and it was pretty cool. Especially without the holding break. But thats always fun to have. V2 is an amazing ride. When we were launched, something jabbed into my arm and made this huge bruise, but it's cool. It was just odd.
After we went to Necropolis. I passed the revolution area, and I always wish it was an Intamin Gyro Swing. Those look so much fun. We went in necropolis, and I went to my first haunted house. This was the first year I actually got scared. And the haunted house scared me so much. I got claustraphobic in the mirror maze with all of the smoke and strobe lights, but that only heighted my fun. The people jumping out made me scream, and the slaughter house in the end with the chainsaw guy got my running. I literally ran out.
The night was almost over after this, so we got a ride on raging bull, and went home. It was good, but fridays aren't that good, because the park is only open for 6 hours, but there is less people.
Oh, and if you don't have a season pass, GET COKE CANS. They are such a good deal.
I am going tomorrow I think, so I will try and get my camera out.
