This was the final day of their opening season! I say it was a good last day, but some improvements could definitely be made. it was pretty crowded too. I remember being on the road, looking around for it... and then in the distance I could see the tornado proslide, which they call the Boomerang. I got excited haha.
Three Sisters - All three one time.
After attempting to go into the wave pool only to get right back out because it was too cold, we started out by going to the Three Sisters. We rode the pink one first, then green, and then blue. They were all pretty fun. I think I either liked pink or blue the best.
Boomerang - 2
This is their Proslide Tornado. Both times we went on it, once after three sisters and once at the end of the day, the wait was about the same. I love Tornados, so... it was pretty awesome. But I'm not sure... when I'm on Tornado at SFGAm, I scream more and have more fun. Boomerang was pretty much the same, but maybe a teeny bit less intense. I think I still like Tornado better.
Cyclone - 1
The cannon bowl slide. I love all bowl slides, so it was good. There was also a green slide on the same platform, but no one seemed to be going on it really. We figured we're not gonna get back in line to go on that since everyone who was in line was going for the bowl. They didn't really have a separate line.
Tasmanian Twisters - Twice on each one.
Two of the three body slides. We first tried out the yellow one, then the dark blue one. Blue was slow at first but then in the middle just INSTANTLY gains speed, it was awesome. I suppose yellow was faster though. Oh yeah, near the end on the blue body slide, I've seen people come out on their front side, and I have also been twisted around - I ended up on my front side, was like that for a few seconds, and then I twisted myself back around. Ha....
PJ's Plummet - 2
This was the steep drop body slide. I was a little scared, but I've been on the Dragon before at Deep River, so this was pretty much the same. Instead of being pelted in the back, my the sides of my butt were pelted! Ha, but it was awesome. I love big drops.
Crocodile Mile - 1
The line for this was long, pretty much like any other line (except for the body slides, those lines are always short...) It was a fun slide. Typical family rafts.
Platypus Plunge - 1
This was the green slide we didn't go on earlier. Apparently, it's an atomic coaster tube slide. It was short and sweet, it felt very fast. I don't understand why no one was going on it. There were actually people who shifted off to one side, so we were able to get up there right away since no one was in line for Platypus Plunge!
Wave Pool
The wave pool was decent, but honestly, with the number of people there, and the number of people using their TUBES, it needs to be bigger. I almost drowned because there were so many people surrounding me with tubes and I couldn't go anywhere. The tubes were SO annoying.
Kookaburra Kreek
Lazy River. It was...meh. They had almost no waterfalls, they had like 1. Sucks compared to SFGAm's, but we stayed in for several rounds just to be lazy. It's hard getting a tube though, since there is no line and they don't make people get off. We were waiting 10 minutes to find a tube.... gosh!
I understand this was their first year, but they really need to work on some things:
-Lines. They should somehow make it to show people there are two separate lines for those two slides - one for Cyclone, and one for Platypus. Also, They need to make some kind of line system for the lazy river.
-Improve the lazy river. Put more waterfalls, sprinklers, and stuff like that.
-Wave pool should either be bigger, or when it is crowded DO NOT allow people to bring their tubes. It takes up too much room.
-Food place. The food place we were at, service was very slow. There were lots of windows with a cashier in every window, but the cashiers all would take orders AND get the orders. They need a better system.
We had a good time though. I personally think they could use a few more slides though.
I like HH better.
