7/15/08 - Hot and Crowded

Figured it was going to be a boring day otherwise so I headed to the park around 2:00 or so.

Went up in Sky Trek Tower to get out of the heat



My parking sucked today...


Whizzer is hiding itself from us...

Walked around for a bit and saw everything had a ridiculous line except for railroad, did about a lap and a half around before getting off:

Rode Viper, then headed to White Castle for dinner and headed home for a couple of hours to get out of the heat.


Came back around 7:40


Went and saw this, the 3D effects were mediocre, and it's really such a shame they don't use the entire screen anymore.

Had some fun with the long-exposure feature on my camera and rode Riccochet twice


Rode Chubasco but didn't take any pics. Spun the car so fast I nearly blacked out and my cell phone flew out of my pocket.

Whizzer had a relatively short wait so I rode that

Pretty decent day overall, crowds and lines were nuts but otherwise there were no problems aside from other people's stupidity. Anyone else hate when people run right in front of you and then blame you for walking into them?

and Yes to people walking into you, we were there today as well and we see it all the time. I Really hate it when the midway is really crowded and all of a sudden someone in front of you decides to stop dead in their tracks WITHOUT looking behind them and causes a domino affect with the people behind them. They act as if they're the only ones walking in the midway...

Thanks so much for the pics...people rarely include them anymore...Splashwater Falls grave looks so weird...they should have blocked that area off and kept it hidden until something goes there...bad sight to see...too many geico advertisements

Yeah, there is nothing worse than a large group of people who slam on the walking brakes in the middle of the midway, and decide to talk it up. Or, my personal non-favorite are the people who believe that they are on a basketball court in the middle of the midway.

^ yes I agree with that too. When I went on the 12th, they were all playing basketball on the midway. I was like "Can you move please there are people trying to walk here?" And I pushed past them, how annoying.
