Today was....simply AMAZING!!! like words can almost not describe how perfect today really was....No lines on almost all the rides, not a cloud in the sky, warm, in other words...PERFECT!
We got to the park at noon. Went straight to Bull since we missed it yesterday. Rode front row. Wait was maybe 20 minutes.Rode Demon, no line like always. Hit the Eagle afterwards and walked on. No line at all! Went to Iron Wolf and once again....walked on. Batman was next on the list and it had a very small wait. Front row like always! It started to get hot so we hopped on roaring rapids for our LONGEST wait of the day!! (30 minutes!) I barely got wet so I was ok since I didn't want to get wet in the first place. We kept going and hit superman. Jumped on first row after about a 25-30 minute wait.
We needed to eat after superman so we stopped by mooseburger lodge and got some chicken cesar salads and enjoyed the show. It was actually a pretty neat show they did. Had to rest after eating so we gradually made our way over to Viper and hopped on pretty much without waiting. (maybe 5 minutes at the most) After Viper we had to hit Bull to do the back row since we did front row earlier. And let me tell you...it is SOOOO much different. I love that pulling feeling when you start down the first drop. Makes you feel like you're going so much faster!! My grandma needed to rest after that so I went on Iron Wolf SEVERAL times in a row. One time around I was the only person in the station! Hell I thought I was gonna have a WHOLE TRAIN to myself! It was pretty cool since I could get off and get right back on without waiting. I did that 4 times and then got slightly tired of it.
I went and did Batman twice without waiting after I was done repeating Wolf. Once again NO LINE! Before we left the station to ride there wasn't anyone in line for it! EMPTY STATION! So i had to jump right back on! I was kinda shocked at all the people there and no lines. It was like a blessing since I had crappy visits all ruined by rain before!
We stopped and got some Cold Stone. Not bad but could have been A LOT better. Had to ride Wolf again so I hopped on without waiting one more time. It was starting to get dark so we went to Superman to get a night time ride. Waitied about 30 minutes and got on last row. That was awesome. Our last ride though was Raging Bull. Now that coaster is AMAZING in the pitch black darkness. We got third row and let me tell you...that tunnel at the bottom...hits you hard! Just sudden blackness, you can't see the seats in front of you! One badass ride in the dark. On our way out we stopped since I had to pick up my BF a gift for when I got home to michigan. So I got him a cool six flags shirt.
All in all this was the best day I have EVER had at Six Flags Great America. This was one for the record books!
