SFGAm 7/9/2008 - Early Entry to HH, Deja Vu Boarding Passes

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVuGurl1203 on July 10th, 2008, 4:45 pm
Yesterday was quite a nice and interesting day! We left rather late but there was no traffic so we still got there about 30 minutes before opening. Once it opened, we went over to HH to get an exclusive early entry. The lockers wouldn't take my $20, so I freaked and ran to the tube rental place to ask for change. They said they couldn't make change unless a purchase was made. This made me VERY upset. I went to the food shops, they said no, and I went to the HH shop and they gladly gave me change. Once we were ready, we headed off to go have fun on the slides. All slides were a walk-on for that extra hour. I believe we did... Wave Pool once or twice, Tornado 2x, Vortex, Typhoon, Baracuda, Riptide, Paradise Plunge, all in that first hour. It was awesome. Here are the ride totals...

Tornado - 3 (I can not get enough of this slide. It's amazing.)
Wahoo Racers - 2
Riptide - 1
Paradise Plunge - 1
Typhoon - 1
Vortex - 1
Baracuda - 1
Bahama Mama - 1
Bubba Tubba - 1
Hurricane Bay - 3-4 times
Castaway Creek - 1

We were done by about 1:15! Then we laid in the sun for an hour, thanks to that we both got plenty of sunburn even though we used sunscreen.

After we headed out to the car and got some McDonalds, we went back into the park and started off with Viper. I'll just post the ride totals...

Bull - 2; 1 was a night ride. We tried to get front row but we were forced to go in row 7. Still amazing! Oh yeah, when we went on it earlier in the day, I really felt the yank at the top in the back row - I nearly forgot about that amazing yank over the top! I just love it.
Viper - 2; 1 night ride.
Whizzer - 2; 1 night ride.
BTR - 3; 1 front row ride at dusk... amazing!
SUF - 1 (This was the longest wait, probably 30-50 minutes. I didn't really pay attention. BUT, they were handing out boarding passes, and they all had Deja Vu logo on them. HAHA. It made me laugh a little.)
Triple Play - 1
AEB - 1
Revolution - 1
Scenic Railway - 1
King Chaos - 1

It was an amazing day! A note or two:

-On Scenic Railway, the recorded voice talking about the park... They totally messed it up for TDK. "New for 2007, The Dark Knight coaster!" I was like, wait, isn't it 2008?

I didn't bother to look at the line for TDK. I almost decided to wait for it though.

And I wish the storm was more exciting here. I love storms that shake my house! Haven't had one of those in a while.
