June 23 Trip Report

Hey All !

Today was .. lets just say an interesting day in the park.
very crowded at that, especially for a monday.

The lines for everything were rediculously long and not worth it to wait for ..

I'm just glad I have a season pass .. sorry this is gonna be kinda short, not much to write about unless you want to hear me talking about waiting in lines. ha .. i don't think so.


umm .. but anyways things that i noticed different today in the park were :

1 .. a lot more meet and greets with characters

2 .. red and blue were both running on AE

3 .. this was probably there before i just didnt notice, but in wiggles world, they have mini sports bottles that can be filled up for 99cents each time just like the big one - its only 2$ more to get it with a kids meal, otherwise its only 4$ for the bottle its self. It's really cute and if you have kids, its the perfect size, the only bad thing about these, was that it didn't come with the free refills the day of purchace and it was still 99cents for the refill. But like i said, it was a perfect size for the little ones

another thing i liked about the "kid bottles" was that it was tiny enough to sneak in boys/mens shorts or jeans pockets to get on a ride instead of buying a locker just to store a drink. just a little hint there ;]

anyways .. sorry this was a boring report, but i'm going again on wednesday, so i'll fill you in then too =] i just hope it's not too crowded.

Speaking of long lines, i was just going past the park today around 11:00-11:30 and the parking line was back up to the tollway again. I was going to go in, but changed my mind because i didn't want to sit in the long line in the parking lot so i just went the mall instead (Mills). Unfortunately, now that summer is in full swing this is going to be more common so i am glad i was able to get a lot of time in before the busy summer part of the season. So, since i'm about ten minutes from the park ,i'll just play by ear or do the bad weather visits like others recommended which sometimes (not always) bring you a less crowded park.

that's what i'm gonna start doing too, especially because pretty soon, if you go when all of the crowds are there, it will be way too hot to stand in a line full with people giving off their heat for 2 hours.

I'm planning on going on wednesday like i said before and there is a 50% chance for rain that day so i'm just taking the chance of going, like you said, hopefully that will push some people away. If it rains, so be it theres nothing i can do about it. I'm just planning on going to the mall or something until the rain stops if it lasts more than an hour. But if not, it's supposed to be a pretty nice day. =]
