Went to Six Flags on June 15th, which was Father's day. The weather started out rainy and cloudy here in Aurora where I live, as we drove to Gurnee it got less cloudy and no rain. Once we got to Gurnee we went to McDonald's for breakfast and it rained alittle. Once in the park I went to get the Flash pass, (what is with that video??) After we got the flash pass we (cousin, bro in law, and me) headed towards the whizzer, no wait. Got on and then it started to rain and they had to close down the ride. We left the cars and went down the stairs. Then it proceded to pour for like 20 min.
After the downpour we headed to the Dark Knight, since it was inside. Only an hour wait. The ride was ok, but I was expecting more. After the dark knight the sun came out and we got to enjoy the rest of our day. My bro in law likes coasters like me, but can't do the flat rides. My cousin likes the flat rides but not all the coasters.
A few things I observed where a fat woman couldn't ride the raging bull because of her body size. I felt bad, that has to be embarassing. Then there was this indian mother letting her baby (at least 2) suck on an open aluminum can. What's up with that?? Then in line for the ragin cajun there was a mother, father, and infant in a stroller. WTF??? I swear people in this day and age are losing their common sense.
All in all it was a fun day, too bad I had to work on Monday!!
