It was cold and a bit windy yesterday, but I had a good time. Park was very empty. Did not keep track of ride counts, but I did get on the following, some multiple times
Hoosier Hurricane Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain Galaxi Tig'rr! Cornball Express Den of Lost Thieves Scrambler Sky Ride Bumper cars 3D Monster Trucks
I will say that the changes to the park do look nice. I know I questioned it in another thread, but I will say that seeing things in person, it does make it look nice.
Below are some pictures of some of the modifications.
Shot of the main midway. Notice the new blacktop sealer over all the concrete.

Finally, they must have been doing some work on the dam, as the lake/river was about 15 feet lower then normal.
Again, had a lot of fun, and looking forward to more visits at the park. Sorry this is short, but I'm on my way out the door to SFGAm!
I would have guessed that construction on Steel Hawg would have been farther. Other than that, the park looks pretty nice! I can't wait to go there for the first time.
^I agree, for being one of their largest additions yet, you would think they would be excited and putting it together day and night! On the upside though, the colors for it look AWESOME!!!
Now, I like the new paint on the sky lift towers and waterslides, but honestly, the blacktop is completely unnecessary!!! It's HORRIBLE on hot days and is horrible for our environment!!! The concrete looked much better anyways, so this was just a complete waste of materials and it's hideous in so many ways!

The concrete is still there, they just put blacktop sealer on the concrete. So now being jet black it's going to get way hot around there.
Also just wait til you see the whole strip of cheaply constructed games buildings stretching from the former Chaos site to the Former (yes former) fish feeding area by Galaxi.
Worth noting that alot of rides didn't open with the park, Flying Scooters never opened (wind) and Falling Star is partially torn apart.
Park does look nice, the waterpark looks fine though the sky ride is a bit iffy. Though overall I didnt care for the time I spent at the park, could have been the weather though, not going to pass any sort of judgement til I go again. Mainly I was down there only cause I had to pick up a Pinball Machine in nearby Lowell, IN that I bought.

^no more fish feeding? And yeah, i'm aware that the blacktop is over the concrete, that's why I'm angry about it. I don't mind blacktop surfaces, but it's pointless to blacktop over concrete!

there is no blacktop, unless you mean it's physically black. Blacktop sealer is like paint, they literally painted the concrete black. There is no actual blacktop involved.

^I understand, i sell sealer and filler at work, i'm just saying it seems like a waste. So, is the water level expected to be higher than it is now or is it going to stay this height?
