FF 10/13/07 OMG

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby Jackluver18 on October 13th, 2007, 11:39 pm
To start the day off we got a nice parking spot in preferred parking at 10:15 am No inflatable pumpkin :( . Got to the gate and our first ride of the day was Rue La Morgue....I must say this ride is totally awesome that it's enclosed with black lights that was very cool. Next was Condor aka The Birds. It was said that it was suppose to go backwards but it didn't but it does stop at the top which is a little creepy.

After those rides we waited a half hour for V2 in row 3..great ride as usually. Now as the day progressed the ride lines were insane. I heard Batman and Bull's lines were at an equal 3-4 hours...Batman's line was full queue and onto the bridge by Jester's. The only roller coasters we went on today were Whizzer,Demon and V2 because we spent most of the day at LAFF and Necropolis which I went in 4 times.

We watched the parade at 2 and during the parade I was standing by a garbage can and one of the clowns..the one with the knives thought it was funny to slam it into the garbage can my hand was on..scared me to death. Also Vu opened later on in the day but didn't get on it because it tested quite a bit today. Also I forgot that we went on Superstition which was once again very fun to ride. I like that ride a lot.

The first time we went in Necropolis it was a little bad....saw 1 of the Gravediggers that scared me half to death and Big Mike and Mayor Slayer and some creepy looking chick that looked like she worked at some club or something I don't know what to call her. We walked through and who just happens to be at the end but the Zombie Twins my two upmost favorite people...1 tried to scare me the 2nd time we went in but other then that...I hardly got scared in there.

The funniest part of the day was I had one of those face "wounds" and I walked out of the bathroom and a group of 10 girls hit the road runnin after they saw me and I was like "Ok...weird" Also a bunch of girls were sitting by the ice cream parlor and one of the vampires chased them like there was no tomorrow.

The second LAFF was a little awkward. The part where the actors are "looking for a brain" they point like they want your brain well some dude thought he was suppose to go up on stage and he did and he just stood there wondering why they weren't coming over to him...he looked like such a retard. After the show we were walking through Mardi Gras and I was on my phone when one of the clowns thought it was funny to honk his horn into my phone...odd. Anyways all in all I thought FF today was amazing..the pumpkin guy at the front of the park scared me half to death the first time but the rest of the time it was ok. The scaractors were full throttle today and I applaud them. Awesome decorations...it was much better this weekend then last weekend because it was semi cooler and from what I saw people were getting scared left and right which was awesome. Can't wait till the 27th which is my next trip. I will post pictures later...i didn't take a lot maybe like 4/5 but oh well.

You were in front of me at Vu.
I was on my phone, talking about miscatches.
It opened five minutes after you left haha.

It was packed, but not that packed, the attendance was around 35,000 total. Very crowded, but seen worse, especially on Saturdays during FF.

Yeah I've never seen it like that since i've been going to FF. This was the first time I saw Batman's line like that...I wasn't shocked about Bull but Viper's was bad and Predator's wasn't bad like the others. V2's line in the afternoon was close to Whirligig's entrance.

I was shocked at how un-busy it was in the morning. I got through 6 coasters before noon. But after that, it was a nightmare...

I would agree with Glavan. Friday nights are great, the most I waited for any ride was 20 minutes and during the first 2 hours it was at most a 1-3 train wait.

It might be worth it for the rides but on this past Friday the 12th it was pathetic for the haunts. Me and my son walked through Necropolis and the scareactors were just standing around talking to each other. This was the worst I have ever seen it! Maybe they were not into it cause it was a light crowd, but that is what they are getting aid for.
