Reflections of Summer (7/17/07)

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby LAFFfan4lyfe on July 17th, 2007, 11:30 pm
(I hope this is accurate. The other members mentioned in here can correct me if I'm wrong about anything.)

Dan and I left for the park by 8:15, and got to the park by 9:20. We saw some people we knew, said hi, then headed over to the right side of the carousel. After the chain drop, we walked over to Vu, which wasn't officially open yet. There was only four people there, and the host said there wasn't enough people to open the ride. Confusing, I know. We waited for a few minutes, and then it opened. We rode first in 8b, then re-rode twice, in 6b, and 4b. After that, we went back around, and rode in 1b after a train wait. While at Vu, our friends Nick (woodland) and Brit arrived there, and we hung out with them for the day.

After Vu, we went over to Demon, and it was a walk on for the red train. We rode 6:1, and it was so smooth. Love that red train. After that, we headed over to AER, which was down for some undisclosed reason. It wasn't a long wait, and a friend was hosting, so we chatted until it opened. We rode, and the two trains weren't racing. Blue wasn't even running yet. It got up when we were coming back into the station though, so it was running today.

We skipped IW, and V2 for now, and actually never came back to V2. We headed to BTR, and rode in row 7 after a one train wait. It was lovely to see that the new restraints are already vandalized. After this, we all went to the car to get our waterpark stuff.

We headed into the waterpark a little bit after 11. We first headed over to Tornado to get it out of the way. We got on, but couldn't ride together because the little boy who was in front of us had nobody to go with since his other friend ditched out. We went again after that because we were split up. After Tornado, we headed over to the slide complex over by the wave pool (don't really know it's name). We first rode the teal slide, and then rode the blue and green slide (don't know any slide names, so I'll just name them by color).

After this, we headed over to the family slides. Since there is only three to a raft, we went two and two, and rode the green and teal one. The raft didn't go too high due to low weight. After the family slides, we went on Wahoo racers. I lost the race, as usual. After these, we went to Hurricane Mountain and all of us rode the dark blue slide and the green slide. Nick and Brit even found a lovely surprise in the green slide, an extra tube. After hurricane mountain, we played around in skull island for awhile.

After the waterpark, we took a lunch break at Gurnee Mills. We returned to the park around three, and headed over to Sky Trek Tower. It was weird, we loaded the opposite way. After STT, we went on Space Shuttle America since it had been a long time. After this, we headed over to BTR again, and waited a train for a row two ride. We ended up retrieving a branch during the ride. It caused a laugh.

After this, we decided to go on Yankee Clipper since it was kind of hot out. We headed over to IW after that, and Brit and I didn't want to ride. We waited while Nick and Dan rode. After that, the boys left Brit and I while we watched Reflections, the 80's show. It was cheesy, but then again, the 80s were kind of cheesy times. We met with the guys at the Wii experiece, and Nolan was there too.

After the Wii experience, we headed back into Southwest territory for some Bull action. We waited the two train wait for the back row, and rode. fun fun fun. After RB, we headed to Viper, which we hadn't ridden in awhile. It was around 7, and it was a long day, so after this, we left.

That's all, thanks for reading.

^It had a 5 train wait all day.

And we all know the station wait for V2 is far too long for V2...

Lundy, it looked like you were having an amazing time on your trampoline, good to hear.

I got really sunburnt in HH, and almost died that night because of too much sun. I just fell asleep out of nowhere and didn't wake up till 1030 the next morning. Really weird.

I didn't really get burnt at all, or at least I don't feel burnt.

I didn't wait for V2 because personally, I don't really like that ride. I think it's rather boring.
