Had so much fun so far, we were late for RumbleFest...
They only had 37 people for the event this year. It was a blast. Gage had a blast doing the walking tour of Rumbler. He love climbing the structure and taking pictures and being that close to a coaster.
He got a kick out of going out on the brake run!
Looking down from the brake run at the crossovers.
Standing on the Deadman!
RumbleFest was a great time. KY Rumbler has really aged well since last year. It was running fantastic. ERT was from 7:30 to midnight. Me and Gage got 61 laps on Rumbler out of 97 for the night. If you were not impressed with Rumbler last year (as I wasn't), give it another shot this year as it is much better.
Thanks for reading,
Craig

Wow! Great job on the trip report, and that POV was awesome! I gotta give you credit, I attempted doing one on the Chesnut Mountain Slide and ended up with A LOT less skin than when I started!

They are at KY Action Park near Mammoth Cave state park in Kentucky. About 70 miles south of SFKK off of I-65 Exit 53. If you go there you might as well hit up Beech Bend and ride their coaster. Did I mention they have a great woodie?

I've heard a lot of good things about that ride, too bad funding isn't flowing for me to check it out. Either way, you can never go wrong with Millennium Flyers!

For those who have never tried out an alpine slide and won't be making a long trip this year, keep in mind that there is one in NW Indiana at the Pines resort. http://www.pinesskiarea.com/alpineSlideMtnBkg.html has more information. It opened last year and is pretty fun. If you're in the area, you might as well stop on by...they looked like they could use the business every time I made a visit last year .
Also, for those who might head to Over Gatlinburg's alpine slide this year as a side trip when going to Dollywood to ride Mystery Mine (which is a very fun ride, btw..don't miss it), make sure you look for the really old vehicles. I still can't believe just how slow the old/non-broken in vehicles went down the hillside. It was quite pathetic.
It has been discussed before, wont ever happen w. our management in charge
