Six Flags Magic Mountain - March 30, 2007

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I just got back from a full day at Magic Moutain! I was there two years ago in January, and I can honestly say I saw a huge difference in the way the park looked. The park today was very very clean, landscaping was beautiful, and I saw plenty of employees cleaning, even one scrubbing a garbage can. Many of the ops and sales employees didn't speak any english though, and were very slow at loading rides and keeping order on the ride platforms. We were able to sneak across rows and fill seats that weren't full many times withough employees even looking at us.

Overall the rides were great, X was crazy as usual. Tatsu was insane. I'll never be able to enjoy Superman again after Tatsu, its not even close. I won't go too much detail into rides as everyone pretty much knows the drill. Deja Vu was closed of course, but I got on Ninja, Superman The Escape, and Gold Rusher, all of which were closed two years ago when I was tehre. Viper was great too, the drop reminds me exactly of Shockwave (as it should) Weather was beautiful, crowds were about the same as a slow Tuesday at Great America, but easy to play around. We waited 2 hours for Tatsu, but like Superman the line was waay down by late afternoon. Also, we found 6 flash passes on the ground, which was good for a near walk on Tatsu later on. Sorry I'm kind of rambling here, I'm really tired. Coming up this week is Vegas, and a few days in Disney, maybe a trip to Knotts.

Oh yeah, saw signs for Jonny Rockets and Cold Stone opening soon.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

*****Are you ready to Rockit?!*****
