Saturday October 14th FF

Let us know how your day at the park was.

The park was extrememly packed today. I first went on Demon today, and did either 2 or 3 times. The line wasn't that long though. It was getting there, and then I went to Deja Vu, and stood in line. It had some people in line, and I got on twice. Of course, there was a line the second time. How could there not be? And yes, that was really long. The grouper was gone, and the ride is exciting as always.

I then proceeded to the nearest maroon coaster. This was of course, Iron Wolf. I had no idea that this roller coaster was going to be really long. I thought it was going to be short in fact. It wasn't. It took 40 minutes to get through the line with about 14 trains going bye. That's probably around 375 people that were in that line ahead of me. That's a long line for that ride.

Next, was Fiddler's Fling, and it didn't take that long. What, maybe it took 2 rides to go bye to get on it. Of course, it's Fiddler's Flung. Next, I went my way searching by Yankee Harbor to check the Whirligig, and then I went to Big Easy Balloons. These lines were almost non-existant. They were both walk-on. King Chaos looked like it was really packed which is nuts in my opinion. V2 was going out to the bridge, and Batman was using the gray queues outside the park.

Anyway, I did the Balloons, and the Whirligig quite a couple of times considering they are always fun to me, and they aren't packed. I then went to the Rue Le Morgue which is the bumper cars. It is as always dark in there, with black lights on. There are skeletons, and feet on the walls, and they made like drawers for when they bury people in. There is also a skeleton in there.

It was crowded on the outside line, but not inside. Maybe, they didn't want people to get stuffy in there. I don't know. By the way, the marching band skeletons are now playing in Orleans Place. There head don't move, but at least they are up. They should really take down the electronics things before the winter comes.

All of these old things are breaking down, and they aren't going to buy new ones. Don't take everything down. Just the marching band dudes, talking skeletons, the hand moving by Carousel Plaza, Gargoyle, things that go up and down in Orleans place, skeleton blowing the whistle on the train.

I would say just to take this stuff down, or store it underneath something. They really matter because they are really fragile, and they can't take snow, and the cold weather. Who cares if the tombstone is buried in snow?

I then went to Necropolis. I know I'm back tracking, but oh well. There was nothing that exciting in there. After this, I proceeded to Hershay Highway. These are antique cars. It wasn't as great as it was before. They didn't have the tent with the witches and the strobe, the ghost that flying a kite, the lights that painted like a ghost with a cloth, and the hitchhiker skeletons. This was a normal line. It wasn't that bad.

I passed by Deja Vu, and almost all the queues open except it looked like two. It also had to be a can sardine in the station considering earlier there was no grouper. So, it was jammed packed. I was happy in a way because if Iron Wolf wait is 40 minutes, this ride should be twice, or three times that. And yes, I didn't go on it.

Demon was really long also. It was almost out to the entrance. I don't know if they had any of those queues going near the entrance. Superman was also out to the entrance along with Ragin Cajun. I didn't go to Southwest Territory, so I don't know what happened there. The Orbit had two queues going.

Lastly, I did Hometown Fun Machine four times. This was a walk on except one time. The reason is because it's hidden, and I'm guessing there weren't that many kids at the park because of Fright Fest. After this I called it a day (5:00). I had to be home by a certain time because my mom needed to go somewhere.

I enjoyed the day even though it was very frightful. By this, I mean the lines for everything!! Still, it was fun!

I don't know why they don't have a crew to take ALL the Halloween decorations down before Thanksgiving like they did in 2002. Remember?
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I'm too tired to type a full trip report so here are some highlights of Saturday.

* Yes the park was packed. I heard rumblings of a 4 hour wait on Superman and Batman appeared to running all of it's switchbacks.

* I ate a cockroach today. Exit passes are your friend

* Deja Vu got stuck with people on it today as well as Raging Bull.

* Ses Carney and Professor Chumely: Best freaks ever!

* Dr. Fright's little sing and dance before the chain drop sucks.

All in all a great day even though the park was crowded

Cockroach wasn't that bad. It does taste like a sour banana. I'd do it again just because I hate waiting in line.
