Labor Day SFGAm

Let us know how your day at the park was.

I didn't do a lot of ride types today, but I did a lot of rerides. I believe I did only about 5 actual rides. This was a rainy Labor Day, and thus the park was pretty crowded. I thought that it might even close early, but thanks enough to the 5 or six crowded rows in the parking lot.

Considering that the weather wasn't good, the waterpark never opened. Of course, it never opened because what's the point when there aren't people. It seemed every ride that could be open was open. Deja Vu made an appearance during the day, and then shut down sometimes. It would then open. It can't take the rain along with Iron Wolf, and Whizzer.

They would all open, and shut down. You probably know why so I won't explain it. I was shocked to see that Space Shuttle America was open today. Anyway, I did Deja Vu 5 times, Ricochet about 8 times, Demon about 7 or so times, Batman The Ride around 6 times, V2 around 5 times, and Superman around 5 times.

All of these were walk-ons EXCEPT _ _ _ _ _ _. I'm not shocked that this ride was so crowded because it's just so darn popular. This is the reason why I say it should be open on low staffing days!! The ride is Deja Vu. It took around 20-25 minutes. It had one breakdown which actually smelled like the puking spray they use in the station. So, my guess that's what it was. Maybe, not.

I was there on Labor day as well. Pretty much almost everything was a walk-on or a one ride wait. I rode Raging Bull 6 straight times without ever getting out of my seat, and rode Spacley Sprokets with the kids 7 times without ever getting up. The place was just about dead. I did get on V2 just when it started to rain pretty good. Nothing like rain drops smacking in your face when shooting up the tower.

Nice, and to the point trip report. Hope you had fun.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

I'm so glad I went Sunday instead of Labor Day. Actually I wish I could've went both days... but if I went Labor Day, instead of Sunday, I'd've been upset about HH not opening.

wow, i don't know what side of the park you were on, but where i was, it wasn't very busy at all. The longest we waited was 1 1/2 to try to get on batman, but it broke down, plus a rain closing, so we left the line anyway. We walked right on superman, and only waited 15 mins for vu (it wasn't open yet, so most of that 15 minute wait was waiting for it to open). Perhaps it was busy when we left for the break from 12:00 to 2:30..i don't think it was too crowded though.

I also visited on Labor Day and wasnt sure i was gonna go because of the weather forceast.
I was at the park for about 4 hours but luckily it only had sprinkled on and off till i left around 200pm.
But the lines were very short, had several consecutive rides sessions on Viper and Raging Bull and had 2 walk on front row rides on Batman. So for the short period of time i was there I got on alot of rides and had a very good time and even saw characters like Wonder Woman with a cape on walking around.
