Six Flags Great Adventure Aug. 18th

Let us know how your day at the park was.

A nice couple of day even though the park was packed! Got a later start then we wanted on Friday because of some mixup at the rental car place at Philadelphia International so we didn't get to the park untill almost 12pm when we were supposed to be there by 10am! Once we got there we noticed some rides parts and coaster trains outside of the park so we went to check it out. Sure enough just as I thought it was Shockwaves red train and it still had the Shockwave Decal on the front car!

We then headed into the park and straight for Nitro. About a hour wait since they were only running 2 trains. We sat back row and it was an amzing ride! Talk about airtime! I have to say this ride is much better than our raging bull. We then walked around the park for a bit to see what it was like and in my opinion I think it's a great park.

I've heard alot of people saying how dirty it is and rundown it is. I really didn't see this at all. There were alot of rowdy teens there but for the most didn't see any problems. I did notice alot of grafitti though, mostly on the garbage cans and some walls in the ride ques. Other than that the park was great.

We then headed for El Toro....Almost a 3 hr wait in the blazing sun! Another amazing ride and it doesnt even feel like a woodie to me. Lots of airtime and can you say fast? LOL! Next we were off too Medusa. Another 2 hr wait. This is one of the rides I was looking forward too the most because I have never ridden a floorless before and I have to say it kinda let me down. Don't get me wrong it was a good ride but I think I was expecting more because there was no floor. We then headed over to the Golden Kingdom to get a look at both Kinda Ka's! As we were walking by we noticed a show was just about to start in the Temple Of The Tiger so we headed in. Great show! The best part was after the show when the trainers were in the pool excersing the Tigers. I have never seen a tiger swim before, this was truly an awesome site. A couple of times both tigers came right up to the glass and were looking at everyone watching them. We then headed over too one of the rides I couldn't wait to ride...Shockwave...I mean The Great American Scream Machine! It was nice to get a ride on this and it was in no way as bumpy as our was. This was ride trimned so much though, I'm guessing this was the reason it was smoother.

By this time it was around 7:30 and we wanted to eat so we decided to just call it a day since we had planed on purchasing the Flash Pass on Sunday the 19th.

Sounds like a good trip, although the wait times sucked for you guys. Oh well, SFGAdv is almost always crowded.

And if you want to ride a good floorless, go to Sea World Orlando and ride Kraken. There's a ride!
