Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby EagleFan344 on July 19th, 2006, 2:09 am
It was a bizarre start to the day. Arrived shortly after 10, met up with Raging_Bull. You could see a HUGE mass of GP in the park already. Headed to Vu and somehow we got first dispatch in 8b. Even more bizarre, we got a re-ride in 8b. First time thats ever happened in the morning for me. Got last dispatch on Vu 1A. This ride included a view of lightning in the distance, and a mispark. GP thought we were going again.

Notes:
Bull was a walk-on at one point during the day, on average it was past the stairs
BTR > Bull
B:TR front row at night is the best experience in the entire park.
Power outage around 2
After riding Voyage, American Eagle and Viper..uhh...suck.
Please put AE:B on backwards again.
They were giving out cups of water in Batmans queue
Whizzer has extreme transfer track
V2 is actually decent at night
CRAZY storm after the park closed. Lightning literally EVERYWHERE.

Ride Totals:
BTR: 15
Deja Vu: 6
Bull: 5
V2: 5
Viper: 2
SUF: 2
Whizzer: 1
Demon: 1
SSR: 1
Wolf: 1
Eagle Red: 1
Total: 40

Also got on Giant Drop 3 times, Yankee Clipper once, River Rocker once, and SSA once.
Coaster Count: 128
#1 Coaster: El Toro

The lightning was crazy on the 17th.
Somewhere in Florida a village is missing its idiot. He can be found in Washington D.C.

I'm trying to remember if I saw you, did you happen to be wearing a Voyage or Legend shirt?

Ahh ok I remember you now. I talked with your friend in the Voyage shirt a few times. I saw you guys on Batman, you must have been stuck in line during the power outage. Luckily you were probably in the tunnel which sometimes has A/C instead of the hot and muggy station. Glad to see someone who appreciates B:TR, especially over Bull. I always thought Bull crawls over it's hills, while B:TR keeps a continous fast and out-of-control sensation through it's entire ride. Great Job on the 15 rides.

You got a lot of rides in for one trip. (Maybe not for you, but that's way more than I usually get.)

And the lightning was insane on 7/17. I was in Indiana, and I had the curtains in my hotel room closed. The lightning was still visible through them!
