6/7 trip report (Pretty long)

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby revolutiongurl on June 8th, 2006, 3:09 pm
Hey, I don't remember the exact order of rides but I'll try my best.

It was pretty hot out the whole day. I went with my bro, my Mom, and Ade, the little girl we babysit. We arrived at the park at around 10:15. Ade is seven and too young to go on the coasters, so yesterday was mostly based on flats.

First was the carosuel. I actually thought it a teensy bit boring, but it's a classic so no bad there. One cycle wait.

Next was Orbit. Only Evan (my bro) and I did it. It's so fun and super smooth, it feels like you're floating!! Walk-on.

Next, I recomended Chubasco. We all loved it, especially Ade and she decided it was her favorite over all! One cycle wait.

Richochet and River Rocker were next on the agenda, both walk-ons.

I still cannot gather enough bravery to try Bull. Call me a wimp, I don't care!

Next was Rue le Dodge. One cycle wait, Ade and I only (my mom claimed it would hurt her neck). She loved it!! (Ade did)

We were beginning to get pretty hungry for lunch, so we did a quick spin on Big Easy Balloons, which we all liked. One cycle wait, and during the ride there were two 4 year olds singing "All Star" on the Mardi Gras stage, it was pretty funny.
So then we had lunch. We got our hands stamped and ate sandwiches out in the van, it was a great money saver and we were parked pretty close.

I felt like taking pictures on STT, One cycle wait.

Ade wanted Chubasco again, one cycle wait. Then Evan and I tried Trailblazer, which was really fun. Walk-on.

Alrighty, I think next my Mom and I rode Whizzer, 15-20 minute wait, she LoVeD it!

I then couldn't wait another second to get on Batman. Evan and I rode while Mom and Ade saw the "Tribute to the Stars" show, and liked it.
I think it was about a 20-25 minute wait for middle, we would've done front but Mom set a time we had to meet her, and we were'nt taking any chances.
I love Batman!! With all my heart!!!!

It was 2:05 when we got off, so we had time to ride East River and Whirligig, both walk-ons.

We met back up with Mom and Ade, and trooped back to Yankee Harbor. While Mom and Ade walked to Camp Cartoon Network, we waited about 20 minutes for V2. Not even Batman's insaneness (probably not a word but oh well) could match up to that launch.......pure awesomeness.
All four of us met up again, took a spin on East River again, then left.
It was a kind of short, but nonetheless great day.

Well, I was there yesterday too. Deja Vu was open from 2 til closing and didn't have more than an hour wait. Logger's Run was open most of the day. Jester's Wild Ride was open most of the day. And Superman was open all but 20 minutes. The weather wasn't hot, and the crowds went to nothing after the schools left at 4/5 o'clock. My biggest disappointment was the wait for American Eagle. It was a half hour the whole day! Whatever happened to my beloved walk-ons? Oh well, at least I got on Batman six times in a row without ever leaving the station :).

That's wierd! I could swear I saw Vu after 2, It must've been really bad timing. When I said that thing about S:UF and JWR, I really did mean a short amount of time. I left at 4, because Ade's dad came to our house at 6 and traffic was pretty bad. It might have seemed hotter to me because I had long pants on, and when Evan and I went on Batman for some strange reason I thought going through County fair and Yukon territory was a shorter way than going through Carosuel Plaza and Mardi Gras. I only really noticed the hot weather after that. That stinks about AE.
Plus, I have a question I forgot to ask in my report. Did somebody really get their hand cut off on Viper?
Eh.......I got nothing.

If we are talking about Vu opening on Wednesday, I didn't see it open til about 3:17. I didn't Hometown Fun Machine nor Condor working today. The next day (Thursday) they were open. I will try to remember the rides I got on that day to the best of my knowledge.

D Vu': 7 (above 3:17) After two rides, I also had to eat!
(All other rides before 3:17)
Big Easy Balloons: 1
Ricochet: 1
East River Crawler: 1
V2: 3
RB: 1
Chubasco: 1
Rue Le Dodge: 2
Roaring Rapids: 1
Demon: 3
Orbit: 1
