Let us know how your day at the park was.
Got to the park around 9:10. Only took me 1 hr 15 min to get there, shortest time ever. But that wouldnt be the only record set that day. Met up with rct2wizard and t-w-i-t-c-h-e-s. Got first dispatch on Bull. Then proceeded to Giant Drop. Rode it 59, yes fifty-nine consecutive times, without leaving the queue. New SFGAm all-time record. Photos and video of the 55th record breaking ride will be up sometime (not POV, a video of us on the ride). By then, it was around 12:30 so we got some lunch.
After lunch, we hit Eagle Red, Iron Wolf, V2, Cajun and SUF. Got on Bull 6 straight times to close out the night, same train as Director Guy.
Totals:
GD: 59
Bull: 10
Demon: 5
SUF: 6
Viper: 3
V2: 2
BTR: 1
AER: 1
RC: 1
IW: 1
River Rocker: 1
Scenic Railway: 1
Total: 90
Notes:
Walk on for every coaster in the park basically the entire day.
I miss rocket coasters.
Weather was MUCH better than I anticipated.
Jeff's spiels on Scenic Railway were great!
Coaster Count: 128
#1 Coaster: El Toro

No way. 90 rides in a day is unbelievable. I need to go before it starts getting crowded.

Next weekend will be the last light crowds weekend most likely until September/August. Go last full week of operation = DEAD, more dead than opening day. The whole week last year was like opening day this year after the rain.

Wow....59 times....
The only record we broke was our own 8 times on Raging Bull. We got 18.
Next year, I'll have to try to beat a record.

It's only fair to do so. If I "worked" hard on beating a record, I'd be pissed if someone broke it a week later....

I'm gonna try to set some kind of personal record on the 26th because I think the parks going to be pretty empty. I'm not sure what yet though. Congrats on the record.
