For my spring break, I was able to go down to Disney with my school's band. Like usual, this 17th trip was the same as most before with a few exceptions.
Tuesday (4/18 ) we went to MGM. Rock n Rollercoaster posted waits thru the day between 40 and 90 minutes, yet the wait seemed to be less. Tower of Terror was showing wait times from 20 minutes to 60 minutes. We used fastpass this time. Great Movie Ride had a 20 minute wait when I rode. A few props changed over in the queue from last I looked in the summer. Star Tours had a 20 minute wait, but 1/2 way thru the line, the cast member cut off the fastpass line and allowed stand by riders thru that line. Fantasmic also had a line forming for the 8:30 show at 6:20..
Wednesday (4/19) we headed to Epcot. At 3:00 Mission Space had no wait at all, while Soarin was at 90 minutes and Test Track was still closed from the problem at 10am. Figment of course had no wait and yes, Wonders of Life was closed. Oh and then Spaceship Earth had a nice little wait when my friend decided to jump out of his ride car causing the ride to stop and so on..
Thursday (4/20) we were at Animal Kingdom in the morning. At 8:15 Everest had a 10 minute wait and within 15 minutes it had jumped to 50 minutes. The Single Rider line opened at 9:00. I rode it 9 times in a few hours and was very impressed. Later in the day we headed to Magic Kingdom. We all had some fun on Tomorrowland Transit Authority, stopping the ride twice in a row..once for standing up, the 2nd for jumping cars resulting with us getting stopped inside Space Mountain which was cool watching it for 20 minutes. Buzz had usually a 20 minute wait that day and space mountain was up to an hour. Because of the heat, Splash Mountain had a line during the day at 90 minutes. Big Thunder Mountain was at 20-30 minutes. Pirates was somewhat different already, like the dog from the jail being moved to a different scene and a new dog replaceing its spot. That night we rode Haunted Mansion and of course it got stopped...this time for stepping onto one of the floormats near the hitchhiking ghosts scene. That resulted into a 20 minute wait in the dark with cast members running around with flashlights.
Friday (4/21) me and my family did the Backstage experience with the Doplphins at living Seas. That was really cool being backstage and above the water and everyone looking at the dolphins. You could also see the Seecabs and as I heard, the ride is mostly completed. It was also the 1st day of the Flower and Garden Show and I was one of the 1st people to get the new stamps which are very nice. (Photos to come if i find my camcorder cable).
Saturday (4/22) we did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. It was very good thanks to our terrific guide . I found some stuff out, but I'll choose to keep it quiet until someone else figures it out. That night i met some friends at Magic Kingdom for Extra MAgic Hours from 12am until 3am. We stayed until 1:30am. By then everyone was mostly gone and every line was a walk on. Space Mountain had maybe a 30 second wait if that. It was terrific.
Overall it was very hot and crowds got bad in the afternoon but were dissapearing as it got later into the day. I got videos of Rock n Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Muppets in 3D, Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Transit Authority (featuring a ride stop, jumping cars, and umm...riding with the doors open ), Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Small World, Test Track, Malstrom, Mission Space, Figment, Safari's @ AK, and Everest. I also got many Flower and Garden Show pictures. Once i find my cables, theyll all be uploaded.

And why do they put up with people that jump cars, and stand up on the ride? Shouldn't they be thrown out of the park? How long was Space Mountain, or did you go on that?

sounds like a fun trip. I love disney. I went twice with my band, once in 2003, once in 2005 and had a lot of fun. I want to go back next year to see our band play, but it is doubtful. glad you had fun

I have been really disapointed with the employees and park safety..For all the problems we caused, we shouldve been thrown out, but security wasnt even called once, and to be honest, nobody directly spoke to us either. Sure they'll stop the rides but they wont correct the problems and i really dont think they care unless something severe is happenning. The employees have been really rude too..its all the newer employees..they have no "pixie dust" aka Disney Magic in them. Its sad that years ago it was an honor just to work for the disney company and it wasnt completely easy to join, but now Orlando's uneployment rate is under 3%, thanks to Disney hiring almost anyone off the street.
During the day Space Mountain was between 20-60 minutes. I mainly went on it during the Extra Magic Hours until 3AM and you could literally exit and come back around and on with no wait at all.

I think its rather ignorant of you to discredit the park when you were nothing but a hellraiser. How can you complain about a problem when you're a part of the problem.
Where are you going to upload them to? I am very interested in seeing video, i have been to disney 5 times, and been on all of those rides, but i would just like to see it all again to bring some memories back. By the way, i think Mission Space kicks ass!

Go cry somewhere else.

I agree 100% with TooTired on this one. You have no right to complain & moan over something that's your own damn fault in the first place. And also, he's not crying, he's stating a fact that you should maybe listen to. It's people like you that make the park experience bad for the rest of us.

Nobody's crying about anything. I'm just stating that I find it to be rather ignorant of you to complain about yourself. If I went around kicking all my friends in the balls, I wouldn't complain when they kicked me back. If you can't see the stupidity in your posts thats not my problem. I'm just going to call things as I see them.
