The weather was in the 90s today, but it was still somewhat tolerable. The TV monitors played an advisory from the SFGAm First Aid folks, reminding people to cool down and drink plenty of water.
I started out the day waiting to get into County Fair, with Deja Vu as my first ride (row 3). I got about 3 rides on Vu in about 20 minutes.
After Deja Vu, I got 3 rides on a row on Demon.
Then, it was time for an early cool-down on Splashwater Falls. It was about a 2-boat wait, while the ride was running 3 boats.
Next, it was time to take on Raging Bull. I got in 11 rides on Raging Bull before 1:30 pm. For the most part, the line ended around the bottom of the stairs leading to the station. The FastLane guy let regular guests re-enter the ride through the FastLane entrance. Overall, I packed in 13 rides on Raging Bull.
The lines for most rides were pretty short throughout the entire day. It was only after Hurricane Harbor closed at 7pm did the lines started to grow.
The low-light of the day came with Viper. The grouper was fairly ineffective, letting the line in the station to average a 3-4 train wait. The ride-ops were slow, but it was at the fault of guests who didn't buckle their seatbelts after boarding.
Hurricane Harbor reached capacity today, which isn't really a surprise. Regarding parking, I'm guessing about 20% or more of the overflow lot was filled.
Deja Vu was down for about a half-hour around 7 pm, in which the entire queue line was cleared out. The ride opened around 7:30 pm, where I ended my night with 1 final ride. Afterwards, I just checked out some of the shops before leaving at 8 pm.
Summing up, the coaster totals come to:
American Eagle: Blue - 5
Deja Vu - 6
Demon - 4
Raging Bull - 13
Superman - 4
Viper - 1
Whizzer - 1
