I went today as well.
CAD kinda SUCKED!!!!
The lines were longer than they would normally be at night and the hooligan kids were abundent. Quite a few spitters. (I was in line for American Eagle for the spitting things, they spat on the trucks going under the bridge, and on the people below while they were on the stairs).
I only rode American Eagle Red, played a few rounds of DDR, and entertained a bored worker by playing a round of Bop-It with them (its a keychain on my keys).
Although it was not so nice crowd wise, I love being in the park at night, and the weather was only slightly on the chilly side, overall still a good day considering I only went for a few hours.

I went tonight. Only stayed a couple of hours, managed to get on Batman, S:UF, Ice Mountain Splash and Viper.

Since there was discussion about Sunset Strips sign being down earlier, I thought I would mention that they changed the name of the restaurant back to The New England Cafe.

yeah CAD was pretty busy, so many people got there around 8, heh. Bull's line filled the whole first queue house and then some during CAD, and all the other lines were longer than usual (AE was on the bridge or across it). I did manage to get a good ride on Vu at around 11:15 (David please don't staple me again!) Anyways it was fun despite the heavy crowds, got there at 6:30 left at 11:30. Also, Demon was running all three trains (I noticed it during CAD, don't know if it was all day)

Jeza Vu - 1
Demon - 1
AEB - 2
V2 - 1
Bull - 2
B:TR - 2
IW - 1

After hearing about the last few Coaster After Dark's I don't think I will ever try and go out of my way just to go to one. It's way too crowded to make it worth it. Going on a dismal thursday would be 100 times better than today. Now I didn't go either days, so It's easy for me to make these assumptions, but I did go last year and Dave just walked around the park complaining that all the lines were too long. I think we got around 2 rides during Coasters After Dark. :?

My first CAD coaster was Raging Bull, which did have a longer line than throughout the entire day. Giant Drop and Revolution did not open during CAD, so it was truly Coasters After Dark.

There was a run/rehearsal of the Jumpin' Jammin' Jubilee Parade during the CAD event.

Ended the night with S:UF. I guess the ride op closed the line 10 minutes early (not too sure of the reason), but people lined up behind him anyways. About 3 security guards were called in to settle the situation, which took awhile.

In the morning, I headed to S:UF. Then, I noticed Deja Vu was actually running and headed there. I was able to get two rides within a half hour, as the line was really short.

So, during the day, how were the lines considering that it was colder? I would imagine that some people didn't go to the waterpark yesterday because of that. Was the backlot filled, or not?

the back lot was filled. i only know this because i had to park there :( but even though it was kinda cold there were kinda short lines because of hurrican harbor. i was so surprised. RB had almost now line, DV had about a 30 min wait. even S:UF had not even an hour wait!!! i was like woah this is very odd. but hey i wasnt complainin. all i can hope is that everyones at hurricane harbor today.

I too went to CAD(And the day for that matter.)

I got 7 rides during Cad.

Whizzer-20 min
Demon-10 min
Iron Wolf-5 min
Batman-10 min
Demon-3 min
Demon-Walk
Whizzer-10-15 min

Demon went to 3 trains.(Starting at least in the early evening. They had 5 crew members running it.)

Lines during the day were ok. DejaVu was using a couple switchbacks, Raging Bull was using switchbacks, Superman was in switchbacks, and other lines were pretty busy.

The waterpark was dead. American Eagle Blue now regularly has 2 trains.

It was a fun day as I hung out with Eaglefan344(?) and a bunch of others.

BTW, Batman was using a grouper during CAD and she was really rude. She wouldn't let us ride row 8(even though 2 people were there and we had 2) and then with her arguing with us about it, she failed to fail 2 rows and then when we wanted to go and ride in row 8, she walked in front of the gate(or appeared to) to block us from going to those seats. The ride was still great though.

Lines were much longer during CAD than the day.

Here is my ride list for CAD:

S:UF - 25 min wait.
Batman - 5 min wait for ID check then a 2 min wait for back row.
Eagle Red - line was over the bridge 30 min wait. AE is racing again, wahoo!
Deja Vu - 30 min wait wait.

Lines where long as expected but it was still fun. The ride crews where rocking last night. They all seemed to be having a lot of fun.

I was there in the AM as well. I was in the kids (loony toons and cartoon network) sections most of the morning and they where PACKED. There where tons of "older kids" the didn't belong there. I did notice a lot of people that had swimming gear with them but where not in HH because of the weather.

Just say OK to whatever row she tells you to go, look confused for about 10 seconds, then go to row 8. That should do the trick

No, she would not let us go back, she would have stopped us with all her power. Batman should NEVER have a grouper, it is a small enough station, there isnt enough time for a slow grouper, like her, to fill all the rows, and they should NEVER assign seats to a ride.

Yeah she was soooo slow too, so bad that she missed filling up the trains constantly. When she told me to go to row 4 I was like "ok!" and I walked to row 8 instead.
