I now understand why. GL June 13

Let us know how your day at the park was.

So, my family and I visited Gaugea Lake since it's so close to CP (an hour or so away). We again arrived later today. I think it was about 12:00. When the admission (with no coupon) is only $20.00, you know that something is wrong. So, why couldn't Six Flags Ohio make it? I will try to solve this problem to the best of my ability. You can agree or disagree with me. By the way, everything was a walk-on.

At the beginning of the day, I made my way to the green rollercoaster called X-Flight. This was built by Vekoma by SF. Its a flying rollercoaster. It is rougher than SUF. SUF is about 10 times better than this. It was running one train operation. I got three rides on this. Problem 1

Next, I wanted to check out mini-Deja Vu (Ha Ha) called Head Spin. This was in the park before SF bought it. This ride was fun. I probably rode it about seven times during the day. However, the name fits it well. I don't think many people besides me would ride this more than once. Problem 2

Next, I did Steel Venom (V2), and it was a great ride. Considering SFGAm's lines for this ride, I don't think this ride would be a problem. I did this about 4 times during the entire day. Awesome as always. SF built it in 2000. For some reason, Superman sounds better. It always go with the colors of red and blue.

El Dorado came next. It's an okay "Trailblazer" type ride. After that, I rode Big Dipper, an old 1926 rollercoaster. The cars weren't that great, but the ride was pretty good. It wasn't awesome praiseworthy, but I think people would enjoy this ride.

After that, my parents were getting interviewed by GL people. They were asking them questions like whether or not they like the park. I went on Head Spin again. They received a coupon for a drink. After that, we went on the 11 minute monorail ride which was okay.

Next, I believe Time Warp was on the bill which is a double Chance Inverter. It's an okay ride. After that, it was the Ferris Wheel.

Getting to back to rollercoasters, we tried Thunderhawk, which was an SLC (Stupid Looking Coaster, Ha Ha). I went on it, and it is just nuts. The ride is over in a very short time. I can't understand why SF kept this since it was built in 1998 by the other park. I went on this 4 times. I forced myself to go on it 3 rides after one another, but I learned it's impossible for me to like this ride. Pictures of the green and red color look better than the yellow and orange. It was on one train operation. Problem 3

It was actually time for a water ride, so we did the log ride. It wasn't bad. The man made everyone (other people too) sit in just the front row. I don't know why???

It was time to go on the Floorless rollercoaster, Dominator (originally Batman Dark Knight). This was built by SF in 2000. Yeah!!! Seriously, I've never been on one of these, and I see that everyone raves about this type of coaster so I have to get excited. So, I went on it in the pouring rain. It was the perfect time to go. j/k Besides the fact that I couldn't see, and the pelting drops of rain, I can undestand why Dejavugurl1203 rode it so many times when she went there.

Later (since it was raining), I rode this ride a lot. Maybe, I went on it about 10-15 times during the entire day. It was in two train operation. They won't give rerides though. They say that they want to keep count of the people on the ride. The reason (I think) is obvious. Too me, the floor dropping, and your feet hanging above the track is still stupid, and a waste of money. Put harnesses on a RB train, and place that train on this track. Its the same thing. It's not the floorless part that makes this coaster exciting, but rather the coaster itself. This was my favorite ride at this park!!!

I might as well tell you about the rest of the coasters. Double Loop reminds of Demon, but shorter. It's not great though. This was built in 1977. In my opinion, Villian is a piece of junk. This was built by SF in 2000 when they bought the park. Why SF???? This woodie was built by Custom International Coasters. I compare both this coaster and the other woodie, Raging Wolf Bobs to the Boss. Both of these were in one train operation, and were both terrible. Problems 4 and 5 The last rollercoaster was okay, and I'm guessing it what a Vekoma. It was a kiddie by the name of Beaver Land Mine. It was built in 2000 by SF. It's not a bad choice to build.

Now, I will go back to the flats. The flats at this park are good. There is nothing terribly wrong with them I really enjoyed Haybayler about 4 times. I miss this ride so much at SFGAm. On the other side of the lake (Gaugea Lake), they have more flats, and two shows. One show is the Dino Island 2, which is the same thing SF had, but it isn't 3d. I think SF had Dino Island 3.

The other show was Robots of Mars. It reminded me of a Bugs Life type of show. You get sprayed with water, and air pressure during the show. In the back area (originally Sea World), they had Ships (Balloons at SFGAm), Yo-Yo, Spider (with 2 cars per arm instead of CP 4 cars) (carnival awesome ride), Ship (River Rocker), and a Scrambler. They were also building a waterpark back there.

Besides those five problems (as above) I think the location isn't the greatest place to put an amusement park. It was hard finding it to say the least. It is also close to CP. Just because woodies are cheaper, I don't think SF should've put three in a park. Technically, there were two already, so why put another one?? Choosing another Vekoma coaster for the park (X-Flight) wasn't a great decision either. In closing, I don't understand how CF could buy this park. If they would move Millenium Force to this park, than they might be able to get people there (not me though). Thanks again for reading.
