I'm curious to know how the general public like these rides. What's the theming (if any) with Joker's Jinx? Any theming on Batwing except for just the name?
Note: Just to let you know I haven't been a season pass holder since 2000 due to me doing school, so alot of things have changed. But now I can say I am a season pass holder. 2005 will be a great year for me and my sister.
Most of them was a 5-10 wait, but Joker's Jinx, Batwing, and Superman were packed. People love Joker's Jinx (spaghetti bowls). I even enjoyed the ride. It feels like it got faster but I don't know, alot people were screaming and clapping when the ride ended.
Joker's Jinx and Batwing's theming? Joker's Jinx theming is a fun house. They have mirrors, pictures of the Joker, etc. It's really nice. They did redo some of the theming but more can be added. They can have mist and strobe lights in the tunnel to make it more thrilling. Batwing's theming is like Superman Ultimate Flight. It shows the signs of the character and their arch nemises while approaching the ride. I wish its theming was more like Batman: The Ride.
Gotham City needs alot more theming which i can see coming. There are only three flats between these 3 coasters (Batwing, Superman ROS, and Joker's Jinx. There is currently no restroom back by Batwing, so you have to walk all the way back near Joker's Jinx (thats a long walk). Things are being done to Gotham City.

Mind Eraser- People love this ride too. The whole ride isn't rough when I rode it. In some parts of the ride you can feel the head banging, other than that its not bad. Some people think its new due to its paint job, but its still same old Mind Eraser. If they ride, they will Scream.
All coasters
at Six Flags America are GREAT! I've heard people say from SFGAdv and SFOG say that we have a good line up of coasters. They just said Paradise Island (our waterpark) needed a makeover badly. It has this ugly green carpet with nasty stains on it, and all the waterpark rides weren't open. Paradise Island is transforming into Hurricane Harbor this year. This waterpark really need it, and SFI answered our prayers. They are redoing everything in that section. It is suppose to look like other Hurricane Harbors and they are adding new rides. Hurricane Harbor washes ashore May 28
Yes
Typhoon Sea Coaster is Thrilling. It's like a water coaster. Its located in the Skull Island area. This ride does have theming (station well themed). In the tunnels they have pirates, i can't remembered if they moved, but ill let yaw know. I haven't been on this ride since 2000. At one part of the ride you boat is turned by a turntable and you drop down a hill backwards. There are 2 tunnels. After that it seems like we just ran out of money cause the rest of the ride is just dull. It takes about 8 ride ops to operate the ride, because there are turntables. It doesn't open till Noon. 2005 they are adding more stuff to the ride because people can see it on the outside, but I don't know about the inside since I haven't been on yet. It has 16 boats but only 8 are currently used now. More might be added soon. This ride is about 13-16 mins long. This ride is great beginning to end.
2005 is going to be a good year for SFA!!!!
Pros about the park
1. 15 miles from Washington, DC
Metro is an option (only 10-15 min from the park)
2. Great line up of coasters
3. It's in a nice neighborhood, near million dollar homes
4. Customer service just started improving this year with other chains (they are doing a good job)
Cons about the park
1. One of the smaller SF park in the chain (We own 515 acres, but only 131 acres currently used for park operations).
2. There is no Big advertisement sign high in the air like other SF parks (but it will come soon) no advertisements on buses, but tv advertisements.
3. Traffic problems (well doing Fright Fest didnt get out of the park for about an hour or two). Needs to be redone like SFGAm and expand entrance.
This park might be small to be a SF (compared to your park), but it makes alot of profit being Maryland's ONLY them park. SFI is giving us Hurricane Harbor so it will bring back guests. They think the new waterpark will bring 5-10% rise of attendance which can happen since it gets really hot during the summer. Its hot hear now. This park was flagged in 1999. This park has alot of room to grow and it has been growing. Hopefully soon we will get our
FIRST B&M coaster.
