After we got into the park we jogged it over to Mr. Freeze which was still doing it's morning testing. The supervisior of the ride was standing at the entrance and kept us busy for the 10 minutes of testing the ride had left. Mr. Freeze was just as good (actually a little better) as last season. Great launch and I absolutly love the tophat backwards it's just insane. Crazy airtime coming out of the tophat back into the station! After 3 rerides (we could have stayed on longer, there was nobody in the station) we decided to get off and try a different ride. Scooby Doo was that ride. I absolutly love this ride because I love shooting games. I would ride this many more times in the day mostly because my family loved this ride and I liked shooting the flower that pee'ed on everybody else.
After getting lost in a big circle we head to Batman: The Ride. I remember it just like last year. Tame. I really like our Batman over their Batman. Even when I was in the front row it wasn't as good as ours. I think it's because they don't have any tree's surrounding their 2nd half of the ride. Oh well it was an Ok ride. We took our double ride then got off and headed over to Ninja. We took a pit stop to play a round of DDR in the arcade but my back panel wasn't working! Told the guy who fixed it then immediatly gave us 2 games free. It was pretty sweet and just another example on how their employees went above and beyond today.
Anyways after that we hit Ninja twice which was enough for me. Left me with a queezy stomach which doesn't happen much. Still does have a really good headchopper after the sidewinder though. Kept moving and met up with my family again. We all went on River King Mine Train and I was in the backseat. It's actually sort of rough in the backseat but it's still such a fun ride. A pretty good pop of airtime on the last hill in the backseat. After that I played the basketball game and won a gigantic pink Hippo that would end up being too big to take home. So I gave it to a toddler that liked it at our hotel. I saw Screamin Eagle testing to we headed on over there but sadly it was down for the moment. I took a quick ride on Tom's Twister that I really had high expectations for but it actually just hurt. My head was on something painful and it just made me really dizzy. We walked over to The Boss which I learned later was a mistake. Please god, put PCT trains on this beast! It really has great potiental with awesome drops and I love the helixes on the final part of the ride. But the bottom of all the big drops were so painful I only rode the ride 3 times.
Then it was time for lunch, another basketball game which I won a basketball for a friend, then a quick trip to the car. When we came back we went on Mr. Freeze a few more times and did the scooby doo ride 2 more times then headed back near Screamin Eagle again. It was open this time! We made it to the station and sat near the back but had a restraint problem with the person behind us. After about 5-10 minutes it was fixed and we were off. I totally love Screamin Eagle! It was obvious that some track work was done over the offseason and it did make a difference. I love how the train absolutly flies through the turnaround. We got a reride then got off and I played another kiddie basketball game that I won a pillow of Taz. It's really comfy.

Did the Bumper cars 5 or 6 times with my family which was a good time then hit the Mine Train again. I wanted to do Screamin Eagle but it was stuck on the lift hill where it would stay the rest of the day. I'm thinkin it was only open for about a half hour or an hour the entire day. For some reason we went back to the Boss to try it near the front of the train. Not much of a difference and it delivered the same type of ride overall. Ouch.
We looked at the skycoaster, then made our way back to the front of the park. Stopped and took a ride on Excalibur which was fine, I like being upside down on that ride then went on Batman 6 times in a row because the station was completely empty. Once there wasn't even a queue for the front row which was surprising. The day was winding down so we met back up with my family and headed over to the skycoaster. It was an arched tower so I'm not really sure how tall it was. I'm thinking somewhere inbetween 150-200 feet tall and it was a good rush. We turned backwards when we dropped so we fell backwards which was really cool. I had a really good time on that but the day was almost over.
We went on the Scooby Doo ride one more time where I got my high score of 47,250 (I know, not that good) but was beated by my dad who got 52,500. About a half hour left in the day so we went to Mr. Freeze which was down. Somebodies restraint wouldn't go down so they got a hammer and started banging on it for awhile until it went down. Without a test run we got on the front row and had a great ride. We ended up staying on in the 3rd row for another 6 rides (3 of which with Mike, Dave, and Tom) until the park closed. Other than the weather I had a great day. The employees acted like they actually wanted to talk to me, most of the rides were up and running and the food was awesome. Hopefully I'll be back again next year for opening day again and this has just gotten me really excited for Orlando in little less than a month. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
